Description

New Hall has been tastefully decorated and furnished to provide for overnight accommodation for families, small groups and individuals wishing to escape to the countryside.

There are seven bedrooms and four bathrooms providing accommodation for up to 14 people comfortably. In addition we have four sofa beds that can be made available for extra guests and one of the super king beds is a zip and link which means it can divide into two large singles for separate sleeping configurations.

At the centre of the house on the ground floor is a large hall, which doubles as a dining room. In the games and recreation room next to it, there is an American pool table for those with a competitive nature!

The third reception space is a large reception room with comfortable sofas and armchairs, a wood burner and piano. This room is wired with surround sound and comes with a Bluray player and a 50 inch screen TV.

A car or minibus is essential during your stay. Chester and Shrewsbury train stations give access to the main trainlines for the rest of the country. There are local buses running regularly from chirk to Oswestry and Shrewsbury and also Wrexham and Chester.

“A fabulous property for those looking for a big family get away”

This is a true big house, with large double bedrooms (no box rooms converted into bedrooms). The living room is a great space for the whole family to gather. The kitchen is fully equipped with both convential ovens and an agar. The dining room has a large table which seats c16 people. The bedrooms are large and clean and tidy. A great outside area overlooks a lake. Chirk Castle is within walking distance. An all around great property for a big family weekend away.

“Perfect place for relaxation”

Beautiful country side with lots of attractions around. Nice, big and clean house with all you require for a perfect holiday. The bad part is that they don't have a washing machine. So you need to pack many changes of clothes if you want to stay long time.

“Great house with lots of space”

We have just visited the house in Chirk for my mums 60th birthday. We were a big party of 13 adults and children. There was plenty of room to accommodate everyone and every room had loads of space. Jo the housekeeper was very helpful in setting up extra sofa beds for us. We had a brilliant time celebrating and stayed on the site all weekend! The games room could do with a little update especially if you are taking children. It was easy to speak to both Mark and Jo who were very helpful. Thanks for a lovely stay.

“Great house, recommend visiting”

Fantastic house with lots of space set in beautiful countryside. I would definitely recommend it if going away with a big group of people. The house keeper was also really friendly and helpful when we were running late for check in. Five stars!
