Description
Campiello Zen Frari is located in San Polo, the smallest of the districts (sestieri) of Venice.
Named for the church of San Polo, it is also one of the oldest parts of the city, known for its beautiful palaces, churches and market.
The apartment is an intimate and elegant place in the heart of Venice on the first floor of a 16th century historic building, just a stone throw away from the Canal Grande and close by the Basilica dei Frari and the Rialto bridge.
In this lively corner of Venice you can find some of the best typical restaurants, plenty of artisan shops and the services you need.
All the main places of interest can be reached on foot: Rialto bridge and the market, where boats arrive full of products for the daily commerce, piazza San Marco, the Accademia Galeries and the railway station of St. Lucia.
To enter the Campiello Zen apartment you have to go to the little square of the same name. It is characterized by a small wellhead without frieze. In the middle you see a marble that matches the base of the well, then drains that collected rain water.
The nearest waterbus stop is San Tomà, on the Canal Grande, (lines 1 and 2) and then you have to cross the Campo dei Frari
towards Rialto.
The apartment is suitable for people of all ages, also for families with children or babies.
You'll find restaurants, pubs, cafes and a well furnished supermarket just a few steps away from it.

“Good location and acceptable facilities.”
The letting is advertised as 'sleeps 4 ' but despite requests before arrival no bed linen was provided for the sofa bed which provides space for two persons in addition to the main double bed. On arrival the owner requested that we not use the sofa bed because they do not want it to be used for sleeping. The unit is small but functional, clean and relatively quiet - the neighbours were quite noisy late at night. The location is very good for the main Venice attractions
