Description
Bayview is a 2 bedroom terraced house overlooking Craignure Bay on the Island of Mull. The house looks out to sea, from the back of the property. There is a private garden back and front. Mull has a great variety of wildlife - white tail sea eagles, otters, deer, etc. The house is within walking distance of the ferry terminal (for the Oban ferry).
There is no internet in the house.
The Isle of Mull hotel, which is a 5 minute walk away, houses the local swimming pool which is open to non-residents - check with hotel for opening times. If eating at the hotel booking is advisable.
Mull Eagle Watch (MEW) is run by the RSPB and a visit can be booked at the VisitScotland office next to the pier in Craignure or online. MEW meet at the Craignure golf club, 1 mile away (20 minute walk), where a pair of white tail eagles have a nest site and it is led by an RSPB warden.

“Very clean, comfortable and well equipped accommodation in good location.”
The owners of this accommodation were most welcoming and helpful. They seemed to have thought of everything in equipping the house, which we found to be very clean and comfortable. It was a great location for us as non-drivers, being close to the ferry, main bus routes, pick up point for tours and the Visit Scotland (Tourist Information) office where we hired bikes. Had the weather been inclement we would have used the swimming pool which was only two minutes walk from the house, but as the weather was fine we swam in the bay which can be seen from the back of the house. (Calgary and Laggan Sands were also good for swimming.) Would recommend cycling to Loch Buie - stunning scenery and you might even spot a sea eagle as we did!
