Description
Wester Whinhill is a comfortable, modern, self-catering holiday cottage with stunning views over the picturesque Dornoch Firth. Uniquely for the area, it has a separate leisure room with heated swimming pool and sauna for the exclusive use of visitors to the cottage. The house is 5 minutes walk from a golf driving range, fishing ponds, woods and beach. Set in a large garden with patio and decking - it is an ideal retreat - yet only one mile from the town centre with the world famous Royal Dornoch Golf Club.
The cottage is well suited for families and we have a cot and 2 high chairs if required. One well behaved dog is welcome by arrangement (£25 charge)
We are committed to sustainable tourism, using ECO cleaning products,
and low energy, daylight bulbs. We have Solar PV panels to provide electricity to heat the swimming pool and use an air source heat pump to reduce consumption for a 100% renewable energy supplier. We have an electric car charging point.
Our Energy Performance Certificate is a 'C' rating (75)

“A great stay”
We spent a thoroughly enjoyable ten days at Wester Whinhill. The cottage was very comfortable and had everything you could possibly need. We made use of the swimming pool on several occasions, a great bonus. We enjoyed lots of coastal and forest walks with our dog, and exploring the area was very interesting. The owners, Joan and Jerry, are very friendly and helpful, and we would recommend a stay here to anyone.
