Description

Beacarrie house is a luxury seafront apartment with world class views over Loch Bracadale to the Cuillin ridge, Talisker cliffs and out to Rhum. It includes a kingsize bedroom, shower room and kitchen/living room which is fully equipped, including some basic foods. The private garden which includes seating is full of native plants and has direct access to the shore and several wonderful walks. It's private location makes it the perfect couples retreat for those who want some peace and tranquility as well as being a great base for exploring the island. The situation and large windows makes it an ideal spot for wildlife and bird watching, with dolphins, otters and eagles making regular appearances.

Getting around

The easiest way to explore the island is by car but there are busses from Dunvegan to Portree and I understand there is someone now doing minibus trips around Skye.

Interaction with guest

Raymond and I live in a separate apartment at the back of the property so are at hand if our guests have a problem or just a query but we make an effort to give our guests as much privacy as possible.

“Perfect location perfect apartment”

Fantastic apartment in an idyllic location. Pictures do not do justice to the setting. Rosie and Raymond - the owners- couldn’t be more helpful and provide us with a corpulent of lobsters fresh from the Loch for our first evening meal. The whole area is completely unspoilt and every direction seems to have more incredible scenery and walks. Would highly recommend this apartment and may even consider a re-visit ourselves.

“Magical place”

Make sure you have Rosie’s directions at hand! This place is well off the main road but so worth it. A magical place with ever changing views over Loch Bracadale. Rosie is very welcoming and the place is well supplied. Loved reading the stories about the history of Orbost farm where the house is situated.

How do damage deposits work?

If Rosie (the owner) agrees, they’ll send you a revised quote outlining the changes. You can review and accept/decline this from the Manage your booking page. You’ll have 48 hours to take action before the revised quote expires.
