Taigh na Laige, Kildonan is a light and airy holiday cottage with stunning views over The Minch towards the Outer Hebrides. The holiday cottage is perfectly positioned for those looking for a relaxing holiday yet with easy access to explore the rest of the Isle of Skye. Located at the end of the peninsula, the cottage is not overlooked but yet is less than a 5 min drive to the main road.
Taigh na Laige opens into a large open place lounge / kitchen / dining area which is light and bright, yet with the log burner, is cosy as well. The lounge area has a two seater sofa with a wicker chair, TV with Freeview and a DVD player. There is a selection of DVD's games and books for guests to use. The kitchen area has an electric oven and hob, washing / drying machine, fridge, small table top freezer and a microwave. There is a dining table with 4 chairs.
The double bedroom has a wall mounted TV, dressing table with mirror and chair, wardrobe with drawers and lovely sea views.A cot is available on request for infants. The bathroom has a walk-in shower, W.C. and wash hand basin.
Outside there is a picnic table to enjoy the views from and a BBQ for guests to use. Parking is to the front and side of the property and there is room for bike storage and muddy boots at the rear of the holiday cottage.

“Quiet and picturesque location for this well equipped holiday let”
We couldn't believe our luck when we were able to book here last minute and it was as good as promised. The kitchen had everything we needed and more. There was plenty of space for the 2 of us. The owner lives nearby if there is are problems, but the view is out to sea, in a very quiet location. The welcome gifts left by the owner were a lovely extra touch. Only thing to note is that there is no WiFi if you care about such things. I had prepared and downloaded a few things I wanted to watch and I was able to get a bit of phone reception within the cottage to look up a few things we needed to know, but my friend couldn't get reception within the cottage at all.

Beautiful cottage in great location. Immaculate inside and out. Had everything needed and more. Owners have thought of everything to make it a home from home...even a library with everything you need to know that the island has to offer.
