In fact -- along with its partner, Cedar Upper -- this duplex home shares the honor of being the highest residence at Windcliff Vacation Homes! You also have the option of renting both Cedar Lower and Cedar Upper together, to invite more guests -- even the whole extended family -- to join you on your Colorado mountain vacation.
True to its elevation, Cedar Lower offers a lofty vantage point from which to admire the Rocky Mountains, here majestically interlocked in a chain to form the Continental Divide. Together, these mountains tower proudly as the backbone of Rocky Mountain National Park. It is without question that Cedar Lower occupies one of the most singularly-spectacular home sites in all the world, featuring some of the best views in Estes Park, Colorado.
The Cedar Lower Experience
Cedar Lower was conceived and built on a grand scale. “Glass” is the first word that comes to mind when looking on the western wall, with windows gazing towards the mountains. In fact, Windcliff is known for its unparalleled views of the Continental Divide of the Rockies. We try very hard to let all of our guests know that from October through April an all wheel or 4 wheel drive vehicle is necessary to navigate the roads. Our Windcliff roads are very well maintained by the homeowner's association, but they can become snowpacked and icy at times. We regret that you did not receive that information prior to your arrival. We hope that you visit Windcliff again!
