Description

"SERENA" is a luxury apartment, furnished with designer and antique furniture. The apartment is located in the Piazza San Marco area in the historic center of Florence, (just 10 minutes walk from the Duomo). At the same time, the location of the apartment allows a quiet holiday, away from the noise typical of the city center. You can easily reach the places of main historical-cultural interest such as the Museum of San Marco, with the masterpieces of Beato Angelico, the Galleria dell'Accademia, which also holds the David of Michelangelo and the Piazza della Santissima Annunziata with his splendid Loggia of the Brunelleschi Innocents. Many restaurants, supermarkets, shops and the picturesque market of San Lorenzo are in the neighborhood. The apartment is located on the second and last floor of a noble building and has a lift. Entering you notice a bright and elegant Open-Space composed of: dining area with crystal table and four chairs designed by Philippe Stark, living area with sofa bed with two single beds, LCD TV with SKY, sleeping area with large double bed with slatted frame and memory mattress and antique wardrobe. Through the use of sliding wooden panels it is possible to divide the living area from the sleeping area, making the two intimate and exclusive spaces. The kitchen is equipped with all utensils and appliances, gas hob, microwave oven with grill, fridge with freezer, steamer, toaster, kettle, American coffee machine, moka and food processor. The apartment is also equipped with an anti-bathroom with sink cabinet and large mirror, bathroom with tub and shower, toilet and bidet. Finally, the utility room is equipped with a washer-dryer, an iron and detergents. The apartment is equipped with every comfort: linen for bed and bath, wired internet connection, Wi-Fi, satellite TV, Sky, air conditioning, heating and three large windows with double glazing and mosquito nets. The Santa Maria Novella train station (where we can find the shuttles and buses to the airports of Pisa and Florence) is only a 15-minute walk away. For people arriving by car, there is the possibility to park in a public garage (garage Parterre), obtaining a periodic subscription.

“Best Apartment in Florence”

My wife and I have been travelling through UK and Europe for 5 months, staying in a variety of hotels, B&B's, villas and self-catering apartments. Without question this apartment in Florence was one of the highlights of all of our 26 different accommodations so far. (Being hoteliers ourselves, we are aware of what is involved to present a quality, value-for-money accommodation offer.) Ambra's apartment is very comfortable, spacious, beautifully decorated and well-appointed. She has thought of everything. And it is a 10 minute walk to the Duomo.
