Description
The Bothy is a cosy charming little cottage for 2, with a lounge, open plan kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. All rooms are situated on the ground floor, providing easy access.
You will find all the facilities you need to feel home-from-home, including a well-equipped kitchen and a comfortable lounge with a flat-screen television. The cottage is fully insulated and heated throughout by electric panel heaters to keep you warm during the colder days. WIFI internet connection is also available to keep in touch with the rest of the world. When needed you can reach the owners easily at the same premises.
Parking for one car is available on private ground.
The Bothy is located off the main road, directly behind Willowbank Guesthouse. It only takes a 5 minutes' walk to reach the centre of Grantown on Spey. You will enjoy the rural feeling and at the same time there is no need to use the car to go to a local restaurant or pub.
You will find that the location of The Bothy is a perfect starting point to go out and explore the surrounding area, including breath-taking views, grand estates and of course a large number of whisky distilleries.
The rates include linen, towels and the first £30 of electricity per week. Start date is Saturday at 4pm, and we ask that the Bothy is vacated by 10am on the day of departure.

“Grant own Bothy”
The owners were friendly and helpful. Thank you for that. The bothy is modern and weatherproof inside. I had a mix of hot and humid and drowning rain day by day. The fridge struggled when it was very hot but didn’t we all. An ice compartment would have been welcome but otherwise fully equipped and clean. The windows are surrounded by car park and rear access to the main house so get used to closing the curtains or, alternatively, showing off!! That aside I found it excellent value and enjoyed my week.

“Highly recommended”
My partner and I had a week at the bothy 4-10 Oct. The hosts Jan and Janny were welcoming and the cottage was lovely. Cosy, clean and well kitted out. We felt very covid safe in it and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We will be booking again for next year. Thank you for a lovely stay Fil and Duncan

“The Bothy”
The Bothy was perfect for us when visiting Grantown on Spey. It is small but has everything needed for two people spending a week there with wifi and satellite tv. It has its own parking accessed by a narrow driveway and is only a short walk from the town. It is clean and comfortable with a well equipped kitchen and good shower. It is also handy for walks in the nearby forest and all the attractions of the Cairngorms. It is good value and we had a very enjoyable stay. Hope to go back.
