“A lovely warm and spacious home”

Reviewed 19 Feb 2022

Achnagonalin was warm and welcoming when we arrived. Very well equipped and spacious and only a few minutes by car to Grantown. The open fire in the living room with 3 big sofas were lovely for relaxing in the evening, as were the comfortable beds. The kids loved the labyrinth of stairs and hallways. We discovered a lovely wood fired pizza take away outlet just around the corner too ( open Weds- Sat in winter) Would definitely stay again..

The house is huge, with lots of space. Even for 10 of us, we kept losing each other! Everything was ready for us getting there, rooms all cleaned and fresh beds. The warm open fire on the living room was amazing when it was cold outside. The pool room and table tennis definitely kept the guys busy over the weekend. Overall we had a great weekend would def recommend. Loved it. Thank you so much x

“Well worth a visit!”

Reviewed 5 Aug 2020

Along with my family and friends, we recently enjoyed an excellent week at this fantastic property just outside of Grantown-on-spey. From the initial booking of the property through to our 'check out', the owner malcolm was exceptionally helpful and always on hand to offer advice and tips of places to visit. The house itself is vast and plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Our four kids had a great time playing in either the garden or the games rooms. The location of the house is ideal for visiting the various towns and attractions around speyside and is also only a short 20 minute walk from grantown-on-spey Town centre. All in all we had a great holiday and will definitely endeavour to book the house again in the future.
