Situated in the beautiful tree-lined Square in Grantown-on-Spey, 11 The Square is an elegant holiday house sleeping up to six people. This Grade II listed Georgian townhouse is ideally suited for families or groups and combines fresh contemporary style, relaxed comfort and elegant original features.

The area is at the very heart of the Cairngorms National Park and is perfect for enjoying a wide variety of pursuits, from historic castle visits and touring through the magnificent Speyside scenery, to many outdoor activities for the more energetic: walking, skiing, golfing and fishing all being within close range. The house is just 5 minutes walk from the beautiful natural Scots pinewood of Anagach Woods with several waymarked forest trails where an abundance of wildlife, including deer, red squirrels, and capercaillie abounds. The picturesque village of Grantown-on-Spey is on the doorstep and ideal for a little gentle shopping in the many unusual gift shops and independent stores as well as a choice of quality tea-rooms, pubs and restaurants.

The house is spread over 3 floors and sleeps 6. In the 2 upper floors there are 2 double bedrooms and 2 single bedrooms and a fresh modern family bathroom. On the ground floor there is a comfortable lounge / diner, modern kitchen and downstairs cloakroom. The house is fully equipped for a family friendly holiday.

11 The Square is the perfect base for enjoying a relaxing highland break, family holiday or outdoor adventure in the splendour of the Cairngorms National Park.

“Beautiful house, dog friendly, great location”

This beautiful House, with some lovely original features, and dog friendly garden, is in the lovely Grantown on Spey. There are many great things to do on the doorstep, museum, and river and forest walks. Amenities such as co-op, and several takeaways within walking distance, along with some lovely places to eat out. We especially enjoyed the Wee Puffin (dog friendly). There are also some great independent small shops. If you don't mind a little bit of a drive it is within reach of loch Ness, several castles and some amazing countryside. We loved our holiday and would definitely return, plenty more left to explore.
