Description

The cabin is in a 1.5 acre paddock.

There are 2 other cabins in this paddock called Lucys Nest and Robs Rest.

Jens Den cabin is situated in the heart of rural Anglesey. It is ideal for country walks, a nearby reservoir (5 minute walk across the fields) offers plentiful wildlife along its banks, or relax on the veranda with a glass of wine and appreciate the quiet countryside. This is in the heart of Anglesey's farming community, so you may be woken in the morning to the sound of sheep in the surrounding fields..Please remember these are countryside cabins and not hermetically sealed hotel rooms.

The cabin has 2 bedrooms, 1 loft bedroom with 2 single matresses accessed via a wooden ladder not suitable for children under 6 yrs old, 1 bedroom downstairs with a double bed, and a double pull out settee in the lounge. The downstairs is an open plan kitchen / dining / lounge with double doors that open onto a wooden veranda. The cabin has a full size gas cooker, fridge, microwave and fully equipped kitchen. The bathroom has a shower. The lounge has a TV and DVD player. The cabin is heated by a multifuel burner.

The nearest beaches are approx 15 mins away and the nearest supermarket is about 25 mins away by car.Local facilities include horse riding, clay pigeon shooting and go karting.Llanddeusant, a small village close by, is home to the only working windmill on Anglesey and an historic watermill.Llantrisant makes a very well located base for making the most of this island; from the castle, restaurants and shops at Beaumaris, to a family day out at the sea zoo, and the beauty of walking the Anglesey Coastal Path. The attractions of the mainland are within easy reach and include historic houses, beautiful gardens, fabulous mountain scenery and wonderful walking and climbing.

Please also see details for 2 other cabins on site Robs Rest and Lucys Nest.

Interaction with guest

Please note if two guests are booked we will assume that one bed is required. But please please let us know if both beds are required and we can make them both up. Thanks. The cabins feature a map of Anglesey with shops and petrol stations marked along with our favorite eating places and beaches. Also we have a welcome booklet which tells you names of our dogs and just how greedy they can be. We highly suggest you don't feed them a scrap. (Or they will bug/love you for ever).

“Fantastic weekend”

Reviewed 17 May 2021

We booked this as one of all 3 cabins we booked for the weekend of my partners 40th birthday. The cabins themselves were fantastic, clean and had everything we needed from a modern kitchen to a convenient set up to transform into 6 beds when it was bed time. The children in particular loved the adventure of sleeping in the top area of the cabin. We were so fortunate that all 3 were available to accommodate 16 of us with the paddock itself a perfect size for fun and games with the kids during the day. The barbecues provided were all a superb addition as well as we used all 3 in the Saturday night. A great location too, Anglesey is beautiful, the cabins are quite far from the rest of civilisation though but that suited us down to the ground and it was only a 20 minute drive to get to Penrhos beach where we enjoyed a great walk before we came home. Lastly a special mention to the owners who I had to contact due to one of our party leaving behind quite a special bracelet and Robert and Diana have very kindly found and posted it back to me today. I would definitely recommend and will most certainly be booking again in the future. Thanks again for a great stay.

“Brilliant!”

Reviewed 17 Jun 2019

We had 6 adults and 10 children (ages from 1-13) in our group so we booked all 3 lodges for our annual family get together. The hosts were lovely and very welcoming and the accommodation was spotless, warm and well equipt. The log burners were well stocked with wood and coal and we were told to just ask if we needed more. We were really lucky with the weather which meant we spent most of the time outside, eating, drinking and playing lots of ball games. We even took along our bouncy castle, which Diane was more than happy with. We all had such a great time, we're looking at booking again for September :)
