Description

Tigh a' Chreagain is a spacious traditionally built 4 bedroom cottage situated in a beautiful rural location on the east coast of the Isle of Harris in the Western Isles. It is a 15 minute drive from the ferry port at Tarbert and a 20 minute drive to Leverburgh where you can take a boat trip to the uninhabited island of St Kilda. It is a very central base to explore the rugged coastlines of the east and the spectacular sandy beaches of the west coast of Harris.

“Harris stay”

Spent a fantastic week exploring Harris and Lewis from this fantastic cottage. The road to it seems daunting at first but you soon get used to it. It’s well kitted out and had everything we needed. Comfortable and warm which was good when you gone back cold and wet. We were lucky to get an almost daily visit from local deer which were easy to spot from the cottage

“Well appointed house in perfect location.”

This house is situated close to Geocrab and the lovely Skoon Art Cafe .It is very comfortable and exceptionally clean. It is also close to beaches such as Luskentyre .The distance into Tarbert is approximately 15 minutes. A perfect location for a relaxing holiday .

“Haven of comfort”

A very comfortable & spacious house with everything we needed for a week on Harris. It was spotlessly clean, wonderful facilities, very friendly & helpful hosts only a few minutes away. WiFi was good except for our second day when it was a bit temperamental but still far better than expected. No mobile signal but that wasn't an issue. We had very mixed weather & needed somewhere cosy to retreat to after wet & windy outings. The heating was very easy to control. Access by single track roads was a bit wearing towards the end of the week but that's the price you pay for staying somewhere so special.
