Location: No. 1 is a stunning, luxury holiday home located in the delightful and tranquil setting of the heritage town of Kenmare. Situated only minutes from Kenmare town, this property forms part of 'The Lodges', a bijou development of only 15 houses surrounded by mature landscaping rolling gently down to the edge of the majestic Kenmare Bay- the perfect get away break. In its elevated, south-facing position , 1 The Lodges is a bright, spacious house beautifully finished throughout by its interior designer owner and enjoys particularly enviable views of the very beautiful Kenmare Bay and the surrounding mountains. Accommodation:The interiors of the house are designed to create a calm, elegantly understated space with colours and textures inspired by the surrounding landscape.The ground floor is a light filled, spacious, open plan space comprising a south facing kitchen / dining / living room overlooking Kenmare Bay. Patio doors open from both the dining and living areas onto the private patio and garden. The property is finished to a high specification throughout with polished porcelain tiles, granite worktops, stainless steel range cooker. The oak dining table comfortably seats 8 people. There is an additional and separate living room overlooking the front garden which benefits from lovely evening light - a perfect cosy evening room. A utility room and WC are also accommodated at this level.There are three bedrooms at first floor level each with superb views of Kenmare's scenic landscape. There are two spacious double rooms with king size beds and generous en-suites and one spacious twin room with a large family bathroom directly adjacent.

Please note that gas and electricity are not included in the price. Charges are based on meter readings and payable on departure.

“Wunderschönes, perfekt ausgestattetes Ferienhaus!”

Das große, geräumige Ferienhaus ist sehr geschmackvoll eingerichtet und perfekt bis ins Detail ausgestattet! Wir waren schon in vielen Ferienhäusern, aber No 1 The Lodges ist wirklich das schönste, das wir je hatten. Hinzu kommt die gute Lage: mehrere Supermärkte sind in 3 Minuten mit dem Auto zu erreichen, ebenso die Innenstadt mit zahlreichen Restaurants, Pubs und Läden; zu Fuß braucht man 10-15 Minuten. Als Ausgangspunkt für viele Ausflüge in Kerry ist Kenmare sehr gut geeignet. Die Vermieterin ist überaus freundlich und gab uns viele gute Tipps. Wir empfehlen das Haus auf jeden Fall weiter und würden es wieder buchen, wenn wir nochmal Urlaub in Irland machen.

Totally exceeded all expectations. The home is spacious, beautifully furnished, and has a well equipped gourmet kitchen. Mountain and water views. Walkable to "downtown" Kenmare.
