THE TIMBERS - Rediscover the Magic: Nestled at the end of an exclusive heated access road, The Timbers and Lone Eagle are the finest condominium residences in Keystone. The Timbers redefines what a luxury Rocky Mountain resort is, and upon arrival, you will immediately know that you are in a special place in Colorado's high country.
The Timbers provides unmatched Ski-In Ski-Out access to Keystone mountain... yet feels "worlds away" from the activity of River Run village. It is bordered on one side by the Snake River, and the other side by the mountain itself - one of only two condos in all of Keystone that can claim this special 'remoteness'. Enjoy the pristine wilderness and pure mountain air while vacationing amongst towering pines and spending your days skiing. Afterwards, enjoy The Timbers one-of-a-kind amenities.
FAMILY FIRST: This is the perfect sized unit in a luxury complex for a small family looking for a peaceful, elegant, and convenient place to spend quality family time with their children to create those special 'Kodak moments.' Access to skiing and amenities (listed below) cannot get any easier, particularly for families with young children.
PARENTS - love this ground floor unit in a family-focused 'Ritz Carlton' style complex as they relax in The Timbers' elegant lounge (steps away from condo unit) and keep an eye on the kids playing in the heated pool, splashing in hot tub or roasting smores at the fire pit, all-the-while reading a good book or sipping a glass of wine behind the lounge’s 'wall of windows.'KIDS - (ours included) love this unit as they can dash in and out of condo at a moment’s notice and be in the pool, hot tub or at the fire pit, and out of 'earshot' of parents watching events from behind a 'wall of windows'.COUPLES - and parents (leave the kids behind) looking for a romantic 'escape', love this place as they can indulge themselves in the peace and tranquilty of an exquisite and remote mountain experience, yet be a tranquil 5 minute walk from the energy inherent in the nightlife of a major ski resort. Indulge yourselves - you'll leave feeling completely refreshed and like a kid again.
DAILY ROUTINE: Wake up, have coffee, pick up complimentary paper from lounge (10' away), feed kids breakfast, dress kids, get skis out of private ski locker, strap on boards, push off, start skiing. That’s as difficult as it gets. Whenever you and/or kids need to: take a break, stop to warm up, get something to drink or eat, or tykes need that 'instant' potty break, just ski right in. No need to waste time standing in line in the mountain-side restaurants, restrooms, etc, Hot cocoa, coffee, tea and energy bars available in lounge all day long. And, if you're up for night skiing, you're right there as soon as dinner is over.
AMENITIES - WHAT ELSE TO DO?: Following your day on the slopes, there is still plenty to do in The Timbers itself… and all of these amenities are just steps outside of your ground floor unit.
* POOL: Play with your children in the heated indoor/outdoor pool, normally kept at 92 degrees - warm enough even for adults to keep us from turning blue. Plus, Mom and Dad can enter/exit pool from warmth of inside the building - a huge plus on a cold and snowy night (albeit kids never seem to notice).
* HOT TUB: Relax with a loved one and a glass a wine in the stone cultured hot tub accented with a waterfall under the stars or during a snowfall.
* FIRE PIT: Roast s'mores with the little ones by the cozy fire pit. Fun for couples and adults too - as will bring back fond memories of times spent around the campfire while growing up. Unit comes with a "S'mores Bar" to include Smores' sticks. (Unit also comes w/ discount tag for local City Market grocery store)
* SAUNA/STEAM ROOM: Unwind in the sauna and/or steam room.
* FITNESS CENTER: Workout in The Timbers superbly equipped fitness center w/ Nautilus weights, treadmill, bike, elliptical, etc

Video library has movies for everyone's tastes: Pixar for toddlers, Disney for youths, and action/drama/adventure for teenagers and grownups.
* VILLAGE LIFE: Take a leisurely 5 minute walk along the heated brick pathway thru the forest, across the bridge over the Snake river, and into the center of River Run village - full of great pubs, restaurants, shops and coffee houses. Free resort shuttle around the city of Keystone.

With all of your special touches it truly felt like we were staying at a friend's home, not a typical vacation rental. We especially loved the complimentary bottles of wine, Colorado microbrews, Honor Bar, Smores' Bar, videos and your family photos. Your attention to all the small details, notes on how to use everything and the warm and comfy décor made this by far the nicest vacation rental we've ever stayed in. 7-9 Aug 2009: Tim & Dana: Thank you so much. The condo was great as our 3 kids loved the pool and hot tub! We bought all the basics and were surprised upon arriving that those items were already there! Your place had all the amenities of home, and although we've stayed at many VRBO rentals in the past, yours was actually the 1st condo we've stayed in that was as great as it appeared online. We can't wait to stay there again. Thank you, Jeff & Melissa Brizic , Colorado Springs, CO

I can't say enough about this wonderful condo. The moment you walk in the door, you feel a sense of "coming home." The owners have done an incredible job with the décor and the special touches just made us feel pampered the entire time we were there.
Keystone is an incredible family destination, and The Timbers is an spectacular property. We loved staying slope side. It was quite and cozy and literally just a 5 minute walk to all the Village at River Run has to offer.
We wish we were still there and cannot wait to go back next year. Simply incredible!

The Born family was kind enough to let us enjoy their beautiful ski-in/ski-out retreat. Everything about this condo is perfect. The Timbers is perfectly situated near the gondola and easy to make quick lunch stops. This condo is perfectly located next to the Keurig that is stocked daily and steps to the hot tub on the same floor. The separate bedroom was perfect for the adults with a very spacious master bath and comfortable mattress. The fold out couch and murphy bed in the living room was just what the kids wanted. Kitchen was stocked with the things we forgot to get from our grocery delivery service like syrup and jelly. We'll be back!

I have only positive words to say about this ski on/ski off unit. The owner was amazingly helpful from start to finish. The check-in process was flawless even though we arrived at 4:00 a.m. The unit itself was just the right size for our small family. We felt right at home. I was worried about noise since we were on the first floor, but it was never an issue. The owners have some personal touches that make it extra nice...s'more fixins and an honor bar. If you go to Keystone, this is a perfect place to stay.

We stayed 3 nights in Condo 3056 at the Timbers.
Just 2 of us, my wife and me. Great underground parking. The first thing we noticed was we were on the convenient 1st floor where the lobby was (which was beautiful) and ski locker access, pool and hot tub outside and small exercise room, sauna and steam room.#056 is right off the front door and very convenient. When walking into the 1 bedroom condo we noticed how spacious it was. We have stayed in condos at Breck and Copper and this was the nicest.
Great owners with great communication.
We hope to be back next year in 3056!

We enjoyed our stay at the Timbers. The place is in a great location, and is richly appointed. The amenities are first class. The condo was also very nice. We would have liked for the room to be darker at night when we were sleeping. The king size bed was nice but the pillows and mattress were, just ok. We would definitely stay here again.

Everything about this condominium is first class. It is beautifully decorated and the owners have added many personal touches that made our stay comfortable and convenient. For example, the electronics, remote controls, lights, and other items are meticulously labeled to make them easy to understand and use. A large DVD library of movies was provided, arranged in alphabetical order, with recommendations by the owners for different genres. The refrigerator and food pantry are stocked with graham crackers, marshmallows and hershey bars to make s'mores, and they also stocked microbrew beer and wine -- simply asking that visitors replace what they use for the next people to enjoy. The condo is very well furnished, and on the ground floor conveniently located near the indoor/outdoor pool, fireplace and sitting area. The unit is well insulated so we were not bothered by noise from others during our stay. The covered, underground parking is safe and convenient, and our check-in after hours was easy. This is a fabulous, one-bedroom, ski-in/ski-out luxury condominium that is great for couples on a romantic weekend or small families on a ski retreat. My thanks to the owners for their hospitality and for making our stay absolutely perfect!

This is a really nice condo. I spoke with the owner over the phone before our stay and he was about as nice as could be. The condo itself was beautifully appointed, very clean, and in an excellent location. The hot tub was large and super hot! What stands out with this particular condo is the exceptionally large bathroom with a separate shower and a spa tub. Really nice! I would recommend this condo without hesitation.

The condo was fabulous! The owners are meticulous and think of everything... From the s'mores bar to the complimentary wine and beer, all the amenities of home! The condo common area was right outside the unit's door and provided complimentary keurig coffee, gormet hot chocolate, tea, granola bars and even sunscreen wipes! The outdoor fire pit, hot tub and pool were great after a day of skiing.
The location couldn't have been better. The ski lockers are just steps from the slopes making it easy to come in for lunch. The River Run shops and restaurants are a short walk away, just over the bridge.

We have stayed in many condominiums in other areas of Colorado and in other parts of the U.S. Unit 3056 at The Timbers is by far the nicest we have ever experienced. The owners of 3056 provided lots of extras and went out of their way to be sure their condominium was in pristine order. We would choose to stay there again and heartily recommend it to others.

We enjoyed our stay for the most part, but had a few issues with ventalation, or the lack of it. To my husband's dismay there was no air conditioning, and because of the design of the unit, no operable windows or screens on the patio doors. As a result we had to leave those doors open when we were there, and locked when away. It was quite warm and stuffy most of the time. The sleep sofa mattress was uncomfortable, but that may be unavoidable. The bedroom, kitchen and baths were very nice. We would have liked to make breakfast but could not find a large skillet, or griddle. The building and grounds are very nice, loved the pool and hot tub.In the winter this would be great for skiing, as the gondola is just steps away.
