Description

The En Rouger gite complex is situated in the Aude region of Languedoc Roussillon in South West France, midway between Carcassonne and Toulouse, and approximately one hour from the Mediterranean beaches and the Pyrenees mountain. Situated In The Countryside but Only A Few Minutes From The Local Village (crossed by "Canal du Midi") En Rouger was originally a working farm and is nearly 200 years old. It has been fully renovated to a high standard and now equipped with modern furniture. There are four certified "3 stars" gites in total all equipped with air conditioning: one with 3 bedrooms (sleep 6) or 4 bedrooms (sleep 10), the 3 others with 2 bedrooms (2 sleeps 4, one sleep 5). A 1.5 Acres Peaceful shaded park with Large heated Pool ( 12 x 7 meters ) and an indoor sauna hosting up to 5 persons provides a relax holiday environment.. Also a covered patio with barbecue and outside entertainment ( swing, sandpit, table tennis, "petanque", badminton, basketball, football, bicycles....) are available for all age guests.

The 3 bedroom gite " Le Tournesol" has been completly renovated in 2016: The livingroom is on the groundfloor with an open kitchen and a toilet. On the upper floor are 3 bedrooms ( 2 with double beds, one with twins beds ) and a complete bathroom ( shower, double sink and toilet ). Linen provided. Towels optional

A large tarmac parking at the entrance of the property with a charging station for electric vehicles is available on site (7kWh, 32A socket type 2 or standard plug).

we have thoroughly enjoyed our week staying at En Rouger. We have been made to feel most welcome by Claire and Jean Marc, the gite is splendid and there are lots of fun activities for children. The Aude region is full of interesting things to visit which in our case has included La Cité in Carcassonne, The Canal du Midi, Airbus and Cité d'Espace in Toulouse. We would have no hesitation in recommending En Rouger to ours friends and hope one day to return ourselves !
