Description
Berneray Cottage is located in Leverburgh on the Hebridean Isle of Harris. Spectacular seaviews, unspoilt hills, moorland, lochs with Uist and Skye in the distance. This delightful cottage has been newly refurbished with bright and spacious rooms .A holiday cottage that is stunning inside and out. Large attractive enclosed garden.
The cottage is ideally situated with spectacular views from all windows. Golden eagles have been seen regularily from the utility window.
The cottage has a sun porch, sitting room ,two bedrooms, bathroom, dining room, large fitted kitchen and utility room with spacious corridors.
A mile up the road is Croft 36 which offers a menu consisting of local produce which is delivered to your door as well as the Anchorage Restuarant situated at the pier at Leverburgh. There is also a Butty Bus which provides filled rolls,home made soup daily as well as fish and chips at the weekend. Leverburgh has a post office ,hairdresser, petrol station and a well stocked shop" Clachan Stores". Bed linen and towels are all provided.

“Berneray Cottage”
We enjoyed a weeks family holiday at this immaculately presented spotlessly clean cosy cottage in Leverburgh. It is situated near the sea and has beautiful views of the mountains and islands alike. Ideal for nature lovers and birdwatchers alike. Very accessible for mountains and world renowned beaches sites of historic interest in Lewis and Harris. At the same time feels like you are a world away from the hustle and bustle of city life. We were greeted with a generous welcome pack of local and home baked produce. Well equipped kitchen and living space with everything from barbecue, baking facilities to picnic baskets and a lovely garden space to relax in. Lots of local information and maps provided in the house. Space to store bikes in garage if needed.
