Description

Ground Floor: Heated by gas fired central heating and comprising:
Lounge: with laminate wood floors, wood-burning stove, exposed beams, spacious leather corner sofa, TV/DVD with Freeview, I-Pod/CD player
Kitchen: with dining area. Yorkshire flagstone floors and beamed ceiling. Electric oven and gas hob, microwave, fridge with icebox, mini-freezer (located under the stairs in the living room) washer/dryer.
First Floor:
Bedroom One: Superb master bedroom with king size coloured brass bed, leather armchair, portable TV/DVD, hair dryer, hair straighteners, exposed beams and trusses. Open to the stairs.
Bedroom Two: With full size bunk beds. Accessed from the master bedroom.
Shower Room: with double power shower, WC, basin, heated towel rail and shaver point.
All fuel (starter pack of fuel for the wood-burner), power, bed linen and towels included. Stairgate provided. Two well behaved pets welcome. On street parking available - not a designated spot.

Extensive book library in the master bedroom.

Note: single beds are set up in bunk-bed configuration.

Parking is available outside the cottage on a first come, first served basis. There is more free parking locally within seconds walk of the cottage.

The cottage is situated close all all local amenities including a range of excellent pubs and eateries. The nearest pub, a 17th century, ivy-clad inn, is a couple of minutes walk away.

Wonderful scenic walks, in particular across the Leyburn Shawl, are only moments away- no car required.......

“Fabulous short stay”

Perfect cottage, gorgeous decor, clean and tidy, absolutely perfect. My daughter and I stayed here together with two dogs, initially thought no garden could be an issue but short walk to a beautiful walk on Leyburn shawl. Leyburn as everything you need. Perfect Chinese and ordered pizza from the pub at West Burton. The noise never bothered us, show weekend but we were out most of the day. Fabulous stay, will be back, loved it.

“Lovely little cottage”

Booked this cottage last minute for the Jubilee bank holiday and we weren’t disappointed. Right in the middle of Leyburn with very easy access to facilities. I had read the reviews about the noise but being in the centre of a market town, what do you expect! And to be fair, we didn’t think it was bad. Cottage was lovely, clean and well equipped. Would recommend parking in the car park behind the Golden Lion as had my car scraped parked outside the cottage.

“Lovely homely cottage right in the heart of Leyburn”

We stayed at the Bolthole over the May bank holiday and had a really nice break, walking down the shawl or sitting in Leyburn watching the world go by. The cottage was very cosy and had everything you need when you are away from home, very large master bed room and spacious toilet/shower room. We ate out each of the 4 nights we where there, one Indian, one Chinese and two English, one of which was Sunday dinner at the Golden Lion ( it is recommended you book for Sunday dinner ) All the food was good but beware the Indian adds 19% to the prices listed on the menu on the total bill. Will definitely be back
