Description

Croeso / Welcome to Talwrn Glas, a recently completed comfortable 3 bedroom self-catering accommodation with views of the Clwydian Range, the Dee Estuary and beyond.

The cottage is part of a traditional Welsh longhouse that dates from the 18th Century, with the Roberts family being the eighth generation.

Located in a peaceful setting, accessed by a farm track it provides the perfect retreat with opportunities to explore the nearby cities of Chester and Liverpool, as well as the market towns of Mold, Llangollen and Ruthin.

Further details indoors

The large Master Bedroom has a king-size bed and is spacious enough to have easy chairs and a log burner. A gallery, which overlooks the master bedroom, has a double futon and gives extra bed space or an area to relax.

The bathroom is located on the ground floor and has a wash basin, WC and a shower over the bath. The second bedroom is fully furnished with a double bed. The third bedroom has a single bed.

“Beautiful place, lovely hosts”

Reviewed 28 Apr 2023

This is a gorgeous property in a beautifully quiet spot that is still handy for much of North Wales and beyond. The hosts are really lovely - relaxed but keen to help in any way they can. You're in good hands here.

“Amazing!”

Reviewed 4 Jan 2018

This property is amazing! The pictures do not do it justice. Each of the bedrooms were much bigger than we initially thought. The lounge/kitchen/dining area is lovely and lets you not miss out any family fun when cooking the evening meals. The property itself is well equipped with pretty much everything you need during your stay. The setting of the property is absolutely gorgeous and whilst we couldnt fully enjoy due to the weather, i imagine it being a lovely place for walks with the family. We had been there 10mins and had quickly looked round the house when my 2 daughters declared they didnt want to leave. There are games and dvds to watch which kept us busy and made for a lovely holiday... just what we wanted! Thank you helen and raymond for renting us this gorgeous property and we are already making plans to come back when the weather is less wild!
