Description
Awel Eryri static caravan is situated on an elevated position in the village of Llanrug on the owners smallholding. An ideal place to get away from the crowds
It has open views over the nearby fields and across the valley and is near Caernarfon (4 miles way) with it's historic castle and is conveniently situated for the mountains of Snowdonia as well Anglesey and the Llyn peninsula. The Snowdon Mountain railway is under 4 miles away.
The caravan has double glazing and is centrally heated with an electric fire in the lounge area.
The kitchen has a gas stove, microwave, toaster, kettle, iron and ironing board as well as a NESCAFÉ Dolce Gusto Infinissima Pod Coffee Machine - pods will be provided. All cutlery, crockery, utensils, tea towels, tin opener, pans, pyrex dishes are provided. Washing up brushes and cloths are also provided.
The tv has an integral DVD.
Bedding and towels are provided, beds are made up ready
There is private seating next to the caravan shielded with bamboo planters
There is a shared barbecue and garden with a picnic table and seating.
Parking is adjacent to the caravan.
CLEANING PROCEDURES DURING COVID
The following cleaning procedures have been followed:
All cleaning equipment will have been disinfected before entering the property.
Cleaners will wear facemasks and rubber gloves
All surfaces that guests come into contact with will be initially cleaned, then disinfected either by steam cleaning or by use of hypochlorite solution as appropriate.
All crockery cutlery and utensils have been washed in hot water and washing up liquid.
All bedding has been changed and dealt with as follows:
• pillow and mattress protectors have been laundered
• all bedding i.e. pillows, duvets have been placed in sealed plastic bags and left for 72 hours or longer before use
• bed linen and towels have been laundered at 40 or 60c as appropriate
All excess soft furnishings will be removed, all remaining soft furnishing will have been either laundered or cleaned using a steamer
Please note that all cushions, even if they have removable covers, will be dealt with in the same way as bedding i.e. placed in sealed plastic bags and left for 72 hours or longer
All books, games and information leaflets have been removed. A list of “where to go/things to do” information web links will be provided by email on booking confirmation along with any instruction guides for the cooker, microwave etc – I am unable to include links on the web page any earlier.
The welcome pack has been reduced to some tea and coffee making facilities including Nescafe dolce gusto pods and there will be a carton of milk and bottle of wine in the fridge.
Basic disinfected cleaning equipment such as floor brush, hand brush and pan and a disposable floor wipe mop will be provided but the vacuum cleaner has been removed due to the difficulties of disinfection.
Dishwashing liquid will be provided along with toilet rolls and hand wash liquid dispensers in the bathrooms.
On arrival you will find windows slightly ajar for airing
What can you do to help?
On leaving please seal all rubbish bags and place in the black bin outside the door

• place all recyclable items in the recycling boxes outside the door
• seal the food waste from the sink top caddy and place in the brown recycled food box outside the door
Please DO NOT strip the beds and please leave all towels on the bathroom floor
Otherwise please leave the caravan as clean as you found it – thank you.

“Brilliant location”
A wonderful caravan in a quiet location that is perfectly located for mountains or the sea. The caravan was spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The host was friendly and helpful. We loved it.

The caravan is absolutely beautiful. We felt so comfortable there. The owners are lovely & very attentive too. Would recommend to anyone & we most certainly will be booking again!

“Fantastic caravan”
We booked for bank holiday weekend and it was the most perfect family break. The caravan is beautifully clean and equipped with all the amenities you could possibly need. The location is a perfect base for exploring the Snowdonia area. The lady who owns it is very nice and is available for you to call if needed (we didn’t need to). We’ll definitely book again.
