The "Clocktower Chalet", fully renovated in 2012, is the consummate Vermont ski chalet, located just steps from the Clocktower base lodge of Okemo Mountain and historic Ludlow Village in Ludlow, Vermont. With beds to sleep 12, this home is on a private wooded lot with views of the Okemo ski resort and is a spacious 2,000 square foot home with 4 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms and two large family rooms. With an open-concept living room, dining room and kitchen, the home has a wood stove, cable and wireless internet, and a large hot tub on a beautiful private rear deck.
Location is everything for this home - we are just 2/10 miles from the Okemo Mountain base lodge and 1 mile from downtown Ludlow. We are in the perfect place for skiers and riders, as we are a short walk to the base lodge and also on the shuttle route - you can be picked up and dropped off right in front of the house! With a great location and a beautiful home with all of the amenities, this is the perfect home for your weekend or week-long rental!
About the Home
On the main floor there is a full bathroom, a large master bedroom with a king bed, and a "Great Room" consisting of the kitchen, dining and living rooms. This open-concept room has cathedral ceilings, solid hickory wood flooring, a wood stove, wonderful natural light and beautiful furnishings. The fully-appointed kitchen has granite countertops with stainless steel appliances, including a dishwasher and disposal, with essential cooking and kitchen accessories such as a coffee pot, toaster, crockpot, blender, and requisite kitchenware provided.
On the lower level of the home there are two additional bedrooms, one set up as a "bunk room" with four twin beds and the other as a second master bedroom with a queen bed. This level also offers a full bathroom with washer and dryer, a family room for an additional living space, and a beautiful mudroom to store all of your ski and boarding equipment.
Finally, the home offers a third living level, open to the family room below - the "loft." The loft space also features a fourth bedroom with four twin beds, closed off from the space below. This is a great kids' room, as they love sleeping in the loft!
