Atop a mountain village w/views of distant hills, the villa is 45 mins from Chiang Mai city and the perfect luxury getaway for families, groups of friends, artists, writers, honeymooners, corporate retreats or anyone wanting to get away from it all. Close to some of Chiang Mai's prime tourist attractions - elephant camp, Tiger kingdom, waterfalls, Hmong hilltribe villages, strawberry fields, splendid viewpoints, Royal Projects, Four Seasons Resort, cafes, ziplines, caves, restaurants and more - and set up for great times!

A living room with an excellent kitchen - with granite topped island and bar counter - is the heart of the house which opens up to a large veranda with a small dipping pool (easily seats four), teak dining table, day beds and other seatings. High ceilings with whirling fans keep the spaces cool year round as do the polished cement walls and polished teak floors. The master bedroom is spacious with a super king's size bed as well as a large day bed in a window alcove all of which opens up to a private balcony. An en suite bathroom, with hot and cold water has head-height glass panes to see views of the mountains as you shower. Two other bedrooms, the queen and large twin, share a bathroom and large private balcony with a teak table and chairs. The queen room has Thai TV on the wall as well as a comfortable leather sofa for reading and the twin large room has lovely views. The two smaller bedrooms, both twins, share a bathroom (detached and having to walk outdoors three steps, though adjacent, covered and in a safe and secure area). A corridor connects all spaces together and the 1 acre garden has a seasonal vegetable garden providing fruits and vegetables for the kitchen. An avocado tree grows through the veranda and produces about 300 fruits between May and July and there are banana, lychee, jackfruit, papaya and lemon trees in the garden, among many other indigenous plants. The house is airy, cool, luxurious, well appointed, comfortable and great for both entertaining and quiet retreats.

House rules

We have antiques so would be grateful if guests could inform us if there are children or small pets coming so we can remove them. Please don't litter or throw cigarettes into the garden. Keep music faced in towards the house after 10pm as sounds carry over the valley. We also ask guests to recycle and use appropriate bins. It is the Thai forest so always make sure that you don't leave stuff for ants!
