If you are not looking to venture any further than Masham you would not need transport as all amenities are local and very much in walking distance from Park Street Cottage. If you will be exploring nearby areas I would highly recommend a car, public transport is another option with local bus routes stopping at Masham include the 138 from Ripon, 159 Ripon to Richmond and 144 Bedale to Masham.

Unfortunately we do not live on site however the keys to the cottage are kept in a key lock box at the rear of the property. An access code will be emailed to you prior to your stay. “Charming Cosy Cottage in superb location”

Reviewed 8 Jul 2022

This is the charming, cosy cottage we all dream about (albeit with a modern, well-equipped kitchen). Spotlessly clean with quality bedding, towels etc. Owners who care. Perfectly situated it's a minute's walk to the main square. Our second visit and will be returning.

“Lovely cottage and location”

Reviewed 10 May 2022

Park street cottage was as described and more. Spotlessly clean and everything we needed for a relaxing break. The beds are amazingly comfortable ( like sleeping on a cloud). Nice thoughtful touch of welcome gifts on arrival. Easy parking. Communication and booking very easy with Fiona. The cottage is very well situated for local cafes, pubs and shops. Just a stroll away. Nice coffee at Bordar house tea room. Enjoyed lovely lunch at Johnny Bagdads in the square. Can recommend both. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this lovely cottage and looking forward to a return visit.

“Fabulous cottage in beautiful Masham”

Reviewed 22 Apr 2022

We stayed here with friends to celebrate a joint special birthday. We are so pleased we chose Park Cottage as it was perfect for our 3 night stay. The cottage is right in the centre of Masham and had everything you need. It was spotlessly clean with lovely quality bed linen and towels (and very comfortable mattresses). The kitchen was very well equipped and the lounge was cosy and it was nice to find a selection of board games. We had a fun evening playing trivial pursuit! There's a lovely courtyard garden with table and chairs and solar lights in the evening. There are absolutely no negatives about staying in this cottage and Fiona was great with communication prior to our stay, and provided very thoughtful welcome gifts. We can't wait to return. My only doubt about posting such a stellar review is that we may struggle to book in future when more people discover this little hidden gem Thank you Fiona!

“Fabulous cottage!”

Reviewed 1 Nov 2021

Fabulous cottage in a fabulous location. Very convenient for all the local shops and pubs/breweries: butchers, greengrocers, gift shops, fish and chips shop and sweet shops literally around the corner. The cottage is really cosy and very well equipped. Very comfortable beds! This was our first stay here but definitely won’t be our last.

“Look no further!”

Reviewed 29 Sep 2021

Masham is a lovely market town and Park Street Cottage is the perfect place to stay! It’s only steps away from the market square and all the shops you need are on hand, along with a very helpful tourist information centre where you can buy great leaflets on local walks. There’s a wide choice of places to eat or ‘stay at home’ as you have everything you need to prepare and cook a meal. The cottage is so cosy and you’re guaranteed a goodnight’s sleep in the very comfortable bed. All round excellent, you won’t be disappointed!

“Perfect Cottage”

Reviewed 13 Sep 2021

With everything you could possibly need, and right in the heart of Masham, this is an ideal place to stay. This was our second visit, and hopefully not our last. The wee yard/garden was an added bonus, we had great weather and loved that we could sit out in the evening and have a drink. Thanks again, hope to be back next year
