Description
Borgo Il Poggio, meaning “Hamlet on the hill” is a 160-acre estate that dates back to the 1600's.
Once composed of several farmhouses, a stone kitchen, stalls, a granary, and a hunting lodge, the estate is now divided into 17 unique and independent living areas. Strategically located at the top of beautiful rolling hills, and immersed in the heart of Tuscany, we are close to world-renowned destinations such as Florence, Pisa, Lucca, Siena, Volterra, and San Gimignano.
Surrounded by breathtaking views, our estate has an organic farm with olive groves, vineyards, various agriculture fields, ponds and a forest. The farm produces organic olive oil, wine, and several other products from seasonal crops throughout the year.
Our property is ideal for short and long-term holidays for couples, friends, and families, who want to be immersed in nature while having the most beautiful areas of Tuscany at their fingertips. We also offer event hosting for private groups, weddings, and retreats.
Seasonal experiences and excursions are available for purchase, including hunting for local wildlife, white and black truffle hunting, harvest packages, biking, horseback riding, and more. Contact us to find out how we can tailor your visit to make it unforgettable.
