Description
Balnagowan Mill is a large single storey cottage in heart of Cairngorms National Park and in a secluded location within 400m of the centre of the forest village of Nethy Bridge. It has been tastefully refurbished and extended to a very high standard and enjoys a Scottish Tourist Board 4 star grading.
The cosy cottage is well insulated and is centrally heated throughout. It has five bedrooms, the three en-suite bedrooms have their own TVs. There is an open plan lounge/dining area and also a large and bright new family room with a 55 inch TV and a play station.
The cottage has a large garden with two children's swings and a range of other outdoor play equipment. Guests have free use of mountain bikes and helmets, to enjoy the extensive network of low level paths in and around Nethy Bridge, which is on the edge of the RSPB's Abernethy National Nature Reserve..
A great touring centre within easy reach of Cairngorm Mountain, the Ospreys at Loch Garten (3mls), Aviemore (12mls), Grantown-on-Spey (5mls), the Moray Coast and Inverness (30mls), the Whisky Trail and Royal Deeside.

“Spacious, clean, comfortable, fantastic showers, great garden and in the gorgeous village of Nethybridge.”
Nethy bridge has the best outdoors, cycling, walking and the newish cafe is lovely. The house was amazing, dog friendly and very comfortable. Thank you

“Heaven in the Cairngorms”
This is the perfect holiday rental for walking, chilling or just doing whatever you want to do in a beautiful part of Scotland. You feel like you are away from it all but in fact you are within walking distance to a shop, a hotel bar and a perfect farm shop that sells the best Rib Eye steaks on the planet! We have just had a week there with our friends and we all thoroughly enjoyed the peace and quiet. The Mill is beautiful and very much home from home. Everything you could want is at hand. Extensively equipped kitchen for ten people. The extension is modern and light and airy. A lovely addition is the BBQ hut in the garden, although we didn't use it I am sure it would be fab in the summer months. Well done Paula and Jim and thank you, we will be back.
