“This is how it should be done!”
A great find of a place and I will definitely be back here. Having stayed on different parts of Angelsey for some years now I've never ventured this end, and what a mistake. The glan morfa lodge … More

“Excellent little cottages”
The Glan Morfa complex is an excellent little development of stone cottages in a beautiful part of Anglesey. I selected it as a dark sky site for the purposes of astro photography - you can see the Milky Way on a clear night - but it's a great base for exploring the island of Anglesey. The cottage was comfortably equipped, with a modern bathroom with power shower, and under floor heating throughout. The development has free WiFi but this is only strong in the separate library area. In my cottage my laptop was able to hold onto a decent signal, but my phones were more erratic. I would definitely stay at Glan Morfa again.

“Excellent hosts, great accommodation, wonderful views and wildlife.”
We stayed in Wren cottage that sleeps two people, it was larger than we expected, with great views of the country park and further. The hosts were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. We explored the country park and found the wild ponies (Beardy was my favourite), two lakes with boat house, bird hides and bee hives. We could see the tide coming in and out at Maltraeth and the Mountains in the background. Anglesey has many bays, costal paths, hidden gardens and forestry walks and Glan Morfa is a great place to stay to discover all these. We experienced some magnificent sunsets and weather. Well worth a stay. One of the best holidays we've had.
