“Perfect location for an escape from reality” The directions to get to Waiwurrie were perfect, the farmhouse and room we stayed in were wonderful. Vickie and Roger looked after us perfectly, and the catering was sublime. The views are second to none of the Bay of Islands, and we truly did not want to leave.

“A Serene and Magnificent Hideaway” This wonderful apartment, just minutes away from auckland, is our favorite hideaway for settling into New Zealand life following a grueling 14 hour flight from our home country. There is nothing the hosts won't do to ensure a comfortable and warm welcome and ongoing stay (including a fresh supply of "basics" and treats in the refrigerator and cupboard). Situated very privately at the top of an upscale home, this apartment is very tastefully decorated and has all the modern conveniences needed for a "home away from home". When we visit City Bush, we like to eat in and dine out in equal proportions. The small village of Titirangi, within walking distance, or a 5 minute drive from City Bush boasts a few excellent restaurants, or we travel the 20 minutes to the viaduct downtown or to Ponsonsby to take in some of the excellent fare offered by those areas. But we find it truly difficult to leave this accommodation once we arrive. It is the perfect place to unwind. It literally feels as though you are in a "cabin in the woods". Surrounded by the lush, local vegetation (including a commanding view of an ancient kauri tree) and the ongoing sounds of birdsong, it is a perfect retreat.

“Cute, convenient and cosy.” This was a comfortable and convenient unit in a quiet location. Well suited for myself and 2 children. There was a lovely shared garden. This is relatively close to the beach and Milford shops. Ilan was very helpful and accessible to sort out issues. I would happily stay here again rather than stay in a motel.

“Fabulous Home - Perfect Location on the North Island, New Zealan” What a fabulous home. This one story home is modern, light, airy, beautifully furnished and has a fully equipped kitchen. Beautiful decking off the main living area and 2 of the bedrooms offer fabulous views of the surrounding mountains and vineyards. We loved sitting on the deck, sipping a glass of the local Sauvignon Blanc, eating the local cheeses while enjoying the view and amazing privacy. We did not want to leave. The home is conveniently located within easy driving distance to the towns of Warkworth and Matakana, and close to beautiful National Parks, hiking and beaches. We will definitely return and will recommend this 5 star private home to all of our friends!

“Just perfect!” Our stay was amazing! We arrived to spend a weekend out of the city, and this place was perfect - private & peaceful. We were so impressed with the service - just the right amount, they were there to help, but did not intrude. The unit it's self was well fitted and was much more than I had expected. “Sooo Romantic” The cottage is so lovely, and the hosts even better. We came in to a beautiful, spotless place with a fireplace already lit. Breakfast was brought in the morning along with more wood and the fire relit so it was always romatic and beautiful. The bathrooms and bedrooms are are beautifully appointed and the view is amazing. This is a place I cannot wait to get back to!

“Luxury Golf Experience” Besides being a fantastic golf house, this home is ideal for family or group vacations. The vistas across the Kinloch Golf Club are spectacular and we enjoyed being able to walk right onto the golf course from the back yard. This house has everything including a fully functional kitchen, comfortable living areas, and 4 large bedrooms with great views. All the bedrooms are spaciously appointed with ensuite bathrooms, heated towels and comfy bathrobes! The home also has a nifty electronic panel to control the lighting, gas fireplace, and music system containing over a hundred albums. Best of all was the warm hospitality that alistair and his wife Kirstie showed us. They stocked the pantry with breakfast supplies, made dinner reservations for us in Taupo, and helped us book a private chef for our last dinner at the house. Alistair can give you the inside scoop on the golf at Kinloch and other courses around NZ. He can also recommend several great things to do in the area including hikes, walks, bike trails, boating, fishing, and helicopter tours. Too bad we didn't have more time to take it all in. We loved staying here and would certainly recommend it to everyone! Thanks for a lovely time! Cannot wait to return!

“Tranquillity with a stunning view!” This was our second visit to the lovely seaside town of Russell, and to the Villa Dufresne, a place to which we'd always intended to return. We came in need of some peace and quiet, and as before we found it here, looking out over the sea, watching the boats crossing the water and the dolphins dancing in the waves. The hospitality is second to none, with every comfort considered. We hope to return for visit number three.
