Description

Our three bedroom, two bath 2000 square foot log cabin is situated on a 125 acre private wildlife refuge with ¾ mile of frontage on the Little Buffalo River, the largest tributary of the nearby Buffalo National River in the heart of the Ozark Mountains. The property has a private swimming hole on the Little Buffalo River. Near Parthenon in beautiful Newton County, Arkansas, our cabin is secluded and private yet easily accessible and within easy driving distance of the Buffalo National River, Jasper, Ponca, Harrison, Branson and Eureka Springs. Spectacular 180 degree views of virtually uninhabited Reynolds Mountain combine with the quiet solitude of the river to create a special place for that romantic getaway or family reunion.

This unique home can accommodate up to 11 guests yet is cozy enough for a couple. Our nearby Guest House can sleep 4 more guests and is only rented with the main cabin .My Blue Heaven is full of rustic charm but never at the expense of creature comforts including central heat and air conditioning, fully appointed modern kitchen, telephone, satellite TV, DVD, and CD players, hot tub, and deck and even a play house for the kids hidden among the trees.

Response from the owner I'm sorry you got lost but we provide detailed driving directions so in 10 years this is the first time I've ever gotten feedback about difficulty finding us if folks used the directions. You are right that GPS does not service our area accurately and we caution folks not to rely on it. We do get excellent cell service with Verizon but very spotty with AT&T as is common all over Newton County. However, we do have a land line phone and internet service. A large part of our appeal is being secluded although we are only nine miles from Jasper which has a grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants. etc. and we are 2 miles off a state highway. I'm glad you enjoyed your visit otherwise and part of your group has made reservations to return in September. We go to great lengths to try to provide the best experience possible for our guests. How do damage deposits work?
