Description
Villa Treggiano is an ancient beautifully restored Tuscan farmhouse surrounded by its own olive trees, vineyard and forest .Villa Treggiano is very suitable for families with children. For children we prepared a great green ground where children can play peaceful.
The villa has been carefully renovated with beamed ceilings and terracotta floors. They are furnished with antique furniture which make them especially charming. The villa sleeps 6 people and it is composed of a living room with fireplace and double bed-sofa, kitchen, 2 rooms with double beds one of which can become triple, 1 room with twin beds, 1 bathroom with bathtub, 1 bathroom with shower and a panoramic terrace overlooking the beautiful Tuscan valley.
Villa Treggiano offers its guests: swimming pool during summer time (open from 15th May until 30th September) and barbecue grill with all facilities for cooking on the terrace. During the month of November it is possible to pick the olives, watch them being pressed in the oil mill and have a taste of the delicious new olive oil that is such an essential part of our civilisation. Baby-sitting on request. Moreover you can buy our biological products (extra virgin olive oil).
On request, it is possible to taste tuscan dinners and to have cooking class in the house.
Near Villa Treggiano you can play tennis and horse riding
We give to our guests some indications of very good restaurants not very far from the property, where it is possible to eat meat, fish and pizza with many tuscan prescriptions
Near the property, you will enjoy shopping to the MALL Village ( 15 Km) where you can find Gucci, Armani, Burbery, Valentino, Trussardi, and more,
Or VALDICHIANA Village ( 70 Km direction to Rome and Valdichiana exit A1) where you can find many shops of the best Italian brands and not only
WHERE WE ARE
Villa Treggiano is close to the Pratomagno Valley, at 550 meters over the sea level, completely dipped in a tipycal Tuscany countryside, between forests and olive trees with a panoramic positions on the Valdarno. Among the large number of fascinating itineraries to be found in Tuscany, (Vallombrosa km 15, Arezzo 32, Siena 35, 40 Cortona etc) and last but not least Florence. Very close to Treggiano Farmhouse you will find chemists, banks, post offices, grocery stores, clothing and forniture shops. Restaurants with typical Tuscany atmosphere and many others shops around the Pian di Scò village.
By car
From Pisa: take the motorway "Livorno-Firenze (FI-PI-LI)" up to Florence - then take the highway A1 direction Rome - exit "Incisa Valdarno".
From Rome: take the highway A1 direction Florence - exit "Incisa Valdarno".
From the exit "Incisa Valdarno" turn right - cross the bridge on the highway and turn right again - direction "Reggello - Matassino - Pian di Scò". After 2 km there is a crossing ,there are two possibilitis:
1) turn left direction "Reggello" - on the road you will find "Montanino" village, "Cascia" village and at last "Reggello" village. You proceed on the same road - direction "Pian di Scò". After 6 km, (before to arrive to Pian di Scò village), you will find a crossing on a curve - here turn left -direction "Fattoria Casamora", "Casabiondo", "Gastra", "Menzano".
2) Follow the directions toward Matassino, Vaggio, Pian di Scò. Once you arrive in Matassino, follow the directions for Vaggio and once in Vaggio go towards Pian di Scò.
Before entering Pian di Scò, you will see a big sign indicating the beginning of the town (Comune di Pian di Scò). After about 300 m, there will be a crossroad. Take the road leading to the left which is a long and large pines boulevard. Drive up to the end of this boulevard and then take the road called Setteponti toward Reggello.
After about 1 km, on a curve , there is a crossroad and the signs, leading to the right, indicating the way to Fattoria di Casamora, Casabiondo, Gastra and Menzano.
When you arrive to "Casabiondo" village you will find a small shop, (now transferred in Pian di Scò – Integralpane), 30 m after this shop there are 2 roads, take the right road which go up to the mountains. Proceed by driving uphill and on some curves. Keep driving until you'll find a second crucifix. Take the not asphalted road (market with the sign "Strada senza uscita") and from the beginning of the road to the house there are about 700 m to cover.
Please note that the road is suitable with standard size type of vehicles (car and minivan) except RV's and similar.
The third group of houses that it find is "Villa Treggiano" with a brown gate.
By Air: Florence airport is at 30 km from the property.
By Train: Figline Valdarno railway station is at 5 km from the farmhouse.
