Exceptional home in the heart of the Eastside of Santa Fe!
This exquisite, European style home in the heart of the Eastside of Santa Fe boasts grand living with fabulous gardens, outdoor living, walkways and courtyards. The lawns and gardens are professionally cared for with a gardener. There is a separate guest house with a sauna and exercise room. The home has incredible décor, art and appointments as well as luxurious linens, and bathrooms. The attention to detail in this home is unparalleled with the finish of the walls, floors and ceilings throughout the house. The pictures show some of the spectacular workmanship and pride the owners have in the upgrades they have recently completed.
Enter through the front door into a gracious entry way welcoming you into the formal living room with fireplace, game table and piano. There is a library to enjoy while at this fabulous home. There are two large sofas as well as other comfortable areas to sit and converse. The access to the outdoors and view is perfect from this room.
Off this great room you will find the fabulous master suite, with king bed, window seat to the east view, armoire with TV and a lovely adjoining sitting room/office with desk and fireplace. the sitting area is an intimate, private patio with lounge chairs to enjoy the wonderful summer and fall seasons. The closets are huge with ample space for summer and winter attire. The deluxe master bath feels like a Parisian spa with marble floors, steam shower and luxurious tub as well as double sinks and bidet. The lighting is spectacular. The master suite is privately situated from the guest wing of the home.
The formal dining room is conveniently located in the home and will easily accommodate a small family meal or a dinner party for 8 -10 guests. The faux painted ceiling and stenciled beams will no doubt create great conversation.
The heart of every home is usually the kitchen, and this home is no exception with the enormous feeling of feasting and cooking. You could not want for anything in this well-appointed gathering spot with center island, Viking six burner range, Sub-zero fridge and Bosch dishwasher. There is a breakfast nook with TV for a relaxing breakfast or lunch. The beautiful tile work and cabinetry is fitting this ideal center of the home.
From the kitchen, you enter a private hall to the guest bedrooms, Jack n Jill bath and Media room with another bath. The guest bedrooms are well-appointed and each has a whimsical flair in décor and appointments. One offers a queen bed and the other twins. There are doors to enter another private garden from either bedroom. These bedrooms are connected with another over-the-top bathroom with double sinks, towel warmers, luxurious bath and walk in shower. The Media room has vaulted ceilings, a fireplace and doors to yet another beautiful outdoor garden. There are large, comfy sofas to relax and watch a movie or just have quiet time in front of the fireplace. For the occasional over-night guest, there is a sofa bed. Adjoining this room is another wonderful full bath.
When exiting the main house to the casita there is a large outdoor dining area to enjoy a meal while overlooking the gardens and Santa Fe landscape.
The casita is above the garage and offers a kitchen, living area with views as well as a bedroom with queen sleigh bed and desk. If you have an extra guest, a daybed is available. There is a balcony with the best views of our beautiful Sangre de Cristo Mountains. In addition, there is another laundry room and full bath with walk-in shower in the casita.
Single car garage with an adjoining room with exercise equipment, sauna and bath. The property is close to 6,500 sq. ft. including the casita. Plenty of room for your guests to have privacy and gathering time.
One must experience the grandeur of this outstanding home with easy access to Canyon Road, Museum Hill, St. John’s College and the downtown Plaza area. The home has a security gate, well and tremendous outdoor areas to enjoy. The owner may consider a well-trained pet.
