Description
Ropeyard Cottage is a homely and well equipped cottage suitable for couples, friends and families alike. Situated in the town of Fishguard itself, within easy walking distance of the towns' shops, cafes & restaurants as well as the Pembrokeshire coastal path. Dinas Head, to the east across Fishguard Bay, can be viewed from the master bedroom.
With a historic character externally, the cottage is full of modern amenities including WIFI, TVs and comfy sofas. The small enclosed garden is ideal for young children. Parking is available for 1 car on the drive and 1 car on the road, which is a quiet cul-de-sac.
The entrance porch, with ample hanging space, leads through to the large open plan lounge/dining area from which the stairs lead to the first floor. There are patio doors from the lounge into the garden. Also downstairs is the kitchen, utility room and WC, with a back door into the garden. Upstairs is the master bedroom, with en-suite shower room, a twin bedded room and a second double bedroom as well as the family bathroom with a shower over the bath. There is plenty of cupboard and wardrobe space upstairs.
Storage for bikes or kayaks is available by prior arrangement.

“Very well equipped and comfortable”
This cottage is in a quite location but a few minutes walk from the town centre. It is very well equipped, furnished and decorated. If anything else is required, the local coop store is a few minutes walk away.The beds and lounge seating were very comfortable. It was also very well organised with all information provided about arrival and use of facilities. This area of Pembrokeshire is beautiful and everywhere appeared litter- free. One of the better cottages I have stayed in, and would definitely recommend.
