Description

Ready for a Hebridean escape? Heather Hut is the perfect hideaway on the Isle of Lewis in the Outer Hebrides. Perched on the edge of a working croft with spectacular views of the Atlantic ocean, this luxury eco-cabin is the ideal base from which to explore all that the island has to offer. Fully insulated and heated, sleeping two in yacht-style twin beds. A small kitchen area is equipped with all the necessities including a silent fridge, kettle, toaster and combination microwave. In the ensuite bathroom you'll find a large shower, complete with fluffy towels and Hebridean Seaweed toiletries. With handmade pottery wine goblets and Harris Tweed soft furnishings, Heather Hut definitely puts the glam into glamping! Free Wi-Fi is provided as well as a TV/DVD player with Freesat.

When you've finished a full day of exploring, you'll be ready to watch the sun go down on your own enclosed porch and deck complete with love seat - perfect for star gazing or for watching for the Northern Lights. There is also a Grillikota BBQ Hut onsite (available for hire at extra cost) where you can grill and dine at your leisure by the water's edge - whatever the weather!

There's so much waiting to be discovered on your doorstep in the Hebrides from miles of golden sandy beaches, excellent wildlife and bird spotting opportunities, to walking, fishing and, of course, the Standing Stones at Callanish. Remote, rugged and romantic - it's the ideal location for a getaway for two.
