Description

A beautifully modern large bungalow completely refurbished for 2010 consisting of 5 bedrooms with four double bedrooms two of which have en-suites and a generous sized fifth bedroom with two single beds and a large family size main bathroom. There is a large kitchen and dining area with a separate utility room.

The house sits in a large plot directly overlooking Newgale beach and has good sized gardens to the front and rear, the front garden has a seating and decking area accessed via the master bedroom and front room. The back garden has a large raised decking and barbecue area offering spectacular views of the beach, camp-site and St brides bay.

Getting around

A car is recommended , but while you are staying there is a great Puffin bus which runs during the school holidays which drops off and collect you by Sands Cafe just 50 yards from the house. Also the local bus service runs slightly later which also drops off and collects you from the Cafe car park opposite , these run to Solve, St Davids, Fishguard and round to Haverfordwest Town and back. So you can walk the costal path to solva which is 30 yards up the hill from the house and get the bus back which is a great way to spend a sunny Pembs day ( it normally takes about 2 1/2 hours to walk it )

“Fantastic week in Newgale”

My family and I stayed at this close to perfect bungalow and location. The beach and surf were fantastic for our active 12 to 15 year olds, a very short walk away. We all enjoyed chilling in this spacious well eqipped house. the walks on the coastal path provide lovelly views, be prepated for some hills. Limited food and wet weather options locally so need to be organised and a vehicle helps. The pelacomb fish and chips were great, as were the freshly made newgale campsite pizzas. None of us wanted to leave! Good to keep an eye on tide times to oprimise whatever activities you want to do.

“Lovely house with amazing views!”

Swn Y Don is a gorgeous holiday home with amazing views! The house it self is very spacious, clean and tidy throughout and well equipped. We all found the beds very comfortable. The views are amazing, even on a rainy day!! Having the beach on the doorstep and being able to enjoy a walk along the sand to end the day was lovely. We would highly recommend exploring the beach and it's amazing caves!! We were all sad to leave this gorgeous home!!

“October break at Newgale”

We love Newgale and have come for years but have stayed in other properties. Swn y Don is great as it is so close to the beach and we like to go bodyboarding ! The facilities are good and property is well kept. As with all properties on the roadway it can be tricky getting reversed in the drive but worth it when coming back out !
