Description
8 Kildonan, Edinbane is perched on the hillside overlooking Loch Greshornish and the Outer Hebrides. It is in a quiet area of the Isle of Skye yet has easy access to exploring the whole island.
The property is a traditional croft house that has been fully modernised and extended. The front two rooms are the original croft house, which only have small windows but the sunroom makes up for them!
The front door of the spacious family holiday home leads into a hallway where there is plenty of space for muddy boots and damp jackets.
The living room is spacious with Freesat TV, DVD & CD player, iPod docking station, games for the family to enjoy, mobile 4G router providing free WiFi and a wireless bluetooth speaker. Through the living room, there is a sunroom which offers superb views over Loch Greshornish and the Hebrides. Perfect for watching sunsets in the evening!
The hallway also leads into the main family bathroom with a shower over bath, WC, basin and heated towel rail.
The kitchen/dining room is at the end of the hall and offers a spacious eating and entertaining area. With an electric hob, double oven, fridge, freezer, microwave and washing machine, it is a great kitchen for creating sumptuous meals in! The wooden dining table seats up to 6 people on leather chairs.
The master bedroom is off from the kitchen/dining room and is generous in size. It has a king size bed, two mirrored built in wardrobes, bedside tables and an ensuite shower room with WC and basin. There are two further bedrooms off the hallway; a double room and a twin room, both with storage space and tastefully furnished.
The garden offers lovely views over Loch Greshornish. There is a patio with bench for guests to relax upon and a table with chairs for outdoor dining. The self-catering holiday cottage has parking for two vehicles.
