This newly refurbished two bedroom apartment, with terrace, and riverside garden, offers luxurious accommodation for four in a tranquil setting, on a bank of the River Ure.
Situated in the picturesque, and historic village of West Tanfield, the apartment is ideally located to explore the beauty of the Yorkshire Dales and surrounding area, by car, on foot, or on bicycle.
Fishing, golf, numerous local walks and cycle routes are all easily accessible, as well as numerous places of interest.
West Tanfield, only ten minutes from the A1, is a much photographed and visited village. It offers a friendly, and well stocked village store and post office, a fantastic riverside pub, a stylish bistro, and friendly farm cafe.The village also contains a trout fishing lake, tennis courts, church, Methodist chapel, and a historic monument. All are within walking distance of the apartment.

“Beautiful & Tranquil”

A beautiful tranquil 2 bedroom space which felt like we were in rural France. Clean, very comfortable & very quiet so the perfect place to retreat!

Response from the owner We're very sorry to hear that you were left disappointed following your recent stay, and apologise unreservedly. Clearly the cleaner had an off day as we have not had complaints regarding cleanliness before. Due to a sons birthday, the house was full of teenagers, who were clearly over exuberant, and for which we apologised.This is not how we like to portray our apartment, and will be diligent in ensuring the your experience is not repeated.

Property had everything required, clean and comfortable with basic supply's left by the owners. A very relaxing setting with lovely views. Ideal place to tour the area by car. I would stay again.
