A well appointed and beautifully decorated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom apartment within the heart of the city centre. To rent for holiday breaks or business stays.

Situated within a secure apartment development the accommodation is quiet and peaceful whilst still having the benefits of city centre living.

Spoil yourself by choosing to stay in this immaculate apartment, with all the delights and attractions of the wonderful city of York right on your doorstep.

Be a stone's throw from the Shambles, The Minster, Treasurer's House, The Jorvik Viking Centre, Stonegate's fabulous shops, the City Walls, a huge selection of cafes , bars and restaurants and all York's many and varied attractions. Seasonal markets, with all their vibrant stalls and exciting atmosphere are just steps away.

At our apartment, your really couldn't get more central. Yet, up on the top floor, with wide panoramic views of York's higgledy piggledy rooftops, you will experience spacious and calm "loft-living". Situated down one of the city's famous snickleways, Peter Lane, the apartment welcomes you into a spotless and gracious interior and the hubbub of the city retreats.

Our very central location means we don't park onsite but we can offer free parking for 1 car about 7 minutes walk from the apartment.

For extra cars we can provide full details of city car parks to suit various budgets.

We are not a business running multiple holiday lets.

We maintain, clean and prepare the apartment for you ourselves, so we can be sure everything is as perfect as possible and presented to the highest standards.

We leave an information booklet in the apartment giving details on how everything works and guidance on where to eat, buy groceries and see the sights.

We also have a box of leaflets on the tourist attractions and plenty of maps. And of course will do our best to answer any questions you may have.

Getting around

York is small and the centre is pedestrian only, so plan to see everything on foot. Everyone does. You’ll only need a car, bus or taxi if travelling away from the city or to somewhere outside the main city area, such as the racecourse. (Although that is perfectly doable on foot if you don’t mind walking). For getting here, the train is ideal and we are a short and easy walk from the station. Trains from London are frequent and fast, travel time is about 2 hours. If you come by car we offer you free parking in a private car park just seven minutes walk away. This will save a lot of money as York parking charges are quite high.

Interaction with guest

We live only five minutes walk away so normally we will be on hand to assist you if any problems arise, and we’re also contactable by phone text or email if you need any advice. When you arrive, if you would like, we can meet you and show you around the apartment and explain a few domestic details and answer any questions you might have. If you prefer to do a Self Check in and just collect a key from our key safe, you are very welcome to do that - we aim to be flexible. Please also feel free to ask any questions you might have before booking.

“Fabulous apartment”

2 couples stayed for 2 night stay in this emmaculate apartment. Everything catered for. Fabulous location. Owners have thought of everything and were so helpful with everything. Would thoroughly recommend. Might be a bit of a squeeze if more than four in the booking.

How do damage deposits work?
