Description

Keepers Cottage is situated in the pretty crofting township of Staffin where the beach is only a five minute walk away.

The entrance vestibule is spacious and has room for your walking boots and coats. The lounge / dining / kitchen area is open plan. In the lounge there is a flat screen TV with ‘free view’, books and games for you to enjoy. The kitchen is well equipped with an electric cooker, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, microwave and a dinning table to seat 8 people. The downstairs utility room has a toilet and wash hand basin, washing machine and drying facilities.

On the first floor there are two bathrooms. The first has a WC, wash hand basin and bath with shower attachment whilst the second has a shower room with separate cubicle, WC and wash hand basin. There are two double rooms, one twin room and one bunk room making the house suitable for up to 8 people. The bunk beds are able to take adults and there is a cot and high chair available on request at time of booking.

There is off road parking by Keeper's Cottage and a picnic table to the side of the house.

The cottage is pet friendly. A pet fee of £20 per pet per week applies.

(Please note that the house has two adjoining self contained chalets which are completely separate from the house and the connecting door is kept locked at all times).

“Beautiful location and cottage.”

We stopped here in August 2021, with a group of 7 and our dog. The cottage was spotlessly clean and the surrounding views were spectacular. Being right on the sea front gave us easy access for dog walking etc. Our only, very slight point, would be that the living area could be a bit bigger for a larger group, but we thought that the whole package was great value for money.

“Astounding Island and fab spacious and immaculately clean home to stay in.”
