Very Good

“Great location and beautiful views from this lovely country house”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2016

Nicely decorated, well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, good baths, dog run was perfect for our dog, and peaceful comfortable front porch with great view of the mountain range. Close to both Stowe and Morrisville for shops and restaurants. Stowe's bike path is the best! the main floor could use a radio.

“Great home away from home!”

Reviewed 24 Sep 2015

This was our family's first real vacation! We weren't sure what to expect as we've stayed in many hotels over the years for conferences we've attended. We really wanted a home instead of a hotel. We were so pleased with this property! We were able to have our dog which was a huge blessing for us. The location was perfect for us! It was remote, but still close to everything. We were wIthin 10-15 minutes from many different amenities. We enjoyed our coffee on the porch every morning and every evening! The view was beautiful too!

“A peaceful stay in a beautifully serene and inviting log cabin.”

Reviewed 5 May 2014

I arrived at aspen's Run well past midnight, and as I pulled into the driveway I was immediately taken with how cozy and inviting this log cabin appeared. After driving 6+ hours and being greeted by the frigid, pitch black Vermont night, this cabin literally emanates a warmth that could be immediately felt. Stepping inside and having my first look around, that feeling of warmth only intensified. The decor is rich and inviting, the furniture tasteful and comfortable, it wasn't long before I made myself at home in front of roaring fire. After spending a four day weekend at aspen's Run, hitting the slopes at Stowe (which is only 15-20 minutes up the road) and enjoying as much of the locale as I could in the short time I was there (I highly recommend the Cold Creek Cider Mill and the Cabot Cheese Creamery) I could only find one drawback to my stay...and that was I had to pack up my things and go. When you rent this place, make sure you make your stay longer than four days, because you're going to fall in love with it, and you're not going to want to leave. I fully intend on bringing a few friends next time I head up, whether its to mountain bike this summer or hit the slopes again this winter, because a place like this needs to be shared with those you love. I look forward to coming back.

“Quintessential Vermont”

Reviewed 5 May 2014

My Fiance and I stayed at aspen's Run this past winter over Martin Luther King Weekend, with our families. We rent a Vermont country home every year, and always strive to rent a house as cozy and immaculate as aspens Run. We chose aspen's Run for its convenience to Stowe Mountain and the Town, but appreciated the seclusion and peaceful property the home lies on. The house is literally a Log Cabin. Old School Tongue and Groove style. The decor is so "homey" from modern stainless appliances, to Jacuzzi bathtubs, to flat screen televisions, to wood burning fire places, to a wrap around porch overlooking the beautiful Green Mountains, Aspen's Run is Quintessential Vermont. A home away from home. Forgot your bath towel, Forget your toiletries, Want to cook breakfast for your family, do not worry, Aspen's Run is fully stocked. There was even a bottle of wine and bacon left in the refrigerator. The rental company is completely responsive and the owner is a sweetheart. If it is quality, comfort and character you are looking for, I fully recommend aspen's Run, over and over again.
