Villa Sasha has been recently fully restored and beautifully furnished is classic Tuscan style with pastel walls, and lovely wooden furnishings creating a warm and inviting atmosphere. The villa, which is all on the ground floor has plenty of room for relaxing. At the front of the villa is a lovely patio area with table and chairs leading to the front entrance which opens directly into a living area with large dining table and chairs, fireplace and sitting area with settees, armchairs, satellite television and DVD player. The living area opens onto a rear terrace which in turn leads to the villas lovely gardens and swimming pool. There is a large kitchen area which opens onto the side terrace where there are built in barbeques. There are a total of four pretty bedrooms and four shower rooms. A lovely feature of the villa are the various pretty terraces and patio areas at the front, side and rear of the house, all furnished with table, chairs and sun shades or umbrellas creating secluded spots for a quiet read or the larger perfect for dining all together al fresco. There is a barbecue perfect for grilling wonderful Tuscan meats over hot coals, and even a wood burning pizza oven. As well as on the villas lovely terraces, there is plenty more space for relaxing in the immaculately kept garden which boasts a secluded perfectly positioned private swimming pool (9.5m x 5.5m) with shallower children’s section and enjoying fine views of the wooded hills beyond. The pool is surrounded by a paved border and lawns with plenty of sun loungers and a lovely wrought iron gazebo for relaxing, dining al fresco or just enjoying a glass of chilled local wine under the shade. The attentive owners have added a laundry room with washing machine and iron, air conditioning (payable locally), and WiFi internet connection. Breakfasts or typical Tuscan dinners can be arranged on request, as can cookery classes for those wishing to master the arts of the local cuisine. Although immersed in unspoilt countryside, Villa Sasha is on the edge of the pretty Tuscan hamlet of Iano therefore within walking distance of the church, 2 local restaurant/pizzeria, grocers shop and local bar. There are a further selection of facilities in the lovely town of Montaione approximately 10 minutes drive away. When you can tear yourself away, it’s a great location from which to explore the area. Medieval San Gimignano is less than 20 minutes drive, Etruscan Volterra is close by and Florence Siena and Pisa, to name just a few of Tuscany’s jewels, are within easy reach and lovely day trips out.
