No. 2 Precentor's Court is a exceptional four bedroom, 300 year old Georgian townhouse, with a courtyard garden. it can accommodate from 2-8 guests. The rental comprises of the entire house, thereby offering privacy and space, and it is arguably the best located holiday property in York being situated right next to York Minster. Ideal for families and mixed groups of friends.
It has just undergone a complete yet sympathetic restoration, with care being taken to retain its many original features. Modern facilities seamlessly blend with an eclectic mix of high quality antique and contemporary furnishings, resulting in an elegant yet relaxed and comfortable residence with an abundance of charm. Awarded VisitEngland's highest rating of 'Five Star Gold' and also selected as one of Sawday's 'Special Places'.
(Important. Please note that Precentor's Court is in a quite and sacred part of the city, and out of respect for our the church and our neighbours (several have young children) we do not accept bookings from single sex/stag/hen parties).

“7 old girls visit york”
Amazingly atmospheric old house . Well equipped and comfortable. Loved the proximity to the minster and all the bell ringing. A wonderful city with lots to see and do.

“Stay September 2017”
Our stay was excellent. The house is well positioned, adjacent to York Minster and within a minute of the Shambles and main shopping area. Beautifully renovated and maintained; with quality fittings and utensils. We had a brilliant time. We would definitely recommend this property. We will be using this company again and will definitely stay at this property in the future.
