“What a great week we had”

Reviewed 12 Dec 2013

We recently had a family reunion at this beach house. There were eight of us and there was plenty of room. The house was a wonderful place and we really enjoyed morning coffee around the island in the kitchen and s'mores in the evening on the back deck around the fire pit. Several times we grabbed a glass of wine and walked to the beach to watch the sunset and even saw a few dolphins. The area seemed to have a lot of events happening nearby, sand sculptures on the beach, shopping at a restored fishing village with several unique shops, bands on the sands and fireworks. The oversized wrap around deck added extra room to what already felt like a spacious house. The house is beautiful and we look forward to vacationing there again.

“Hidden Treasure of Gulf Coast”

Our family enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing, and memorable week at Treasure Island in this home. The decor was warm and thoughtful expressing beach theme throughout the home. We tend to try new places every vacation and this is one of the best! On the beach in two minutes, seating galore, big bedrooms and a shaded side deck made the home easy to enjoy. The beach was never crowded and provided sand dollars which our three kids loved. We walked to shops at John's Pass and found favorite restaurants and activites close by including feeding gators while we played mini-golf!. Very clean home with well stocked kitchen. Gail was available for questions or anything we needed. The back bedrooms experienced a bit of road noise and we missed our wi-fi. Would recommend to any family with kids or adults on a get-away weekend!

“Homey”

Reviewed 18 Aug 2012

With four bedrooms and two baths, it was perfect for Gr'ma and Gr'pa, one son, one granddaughter and her husband and two children. I always wanted a Jenn-Aire and our granddaughter said "We know where Gr'ma will be." I have hip trouble, and I am short, so there were some difficulies(the bed was a bit high for me, I have run into that a lot). The location was near the ocean and the children liked it very much. Thank you so much, I left a roll of toilet tissue in the Master Bedroom and Baking Powder in the kitchen for the next people. The deck and grill were a plus. Bless You, Judy Smetzer(Roy)

“Great, Great, Great!”

We just had a fantastic time at your bungalow! Eight people in our immediate family from ages 52 to 8 weeks old. We rented the house for a full week & were very comfortable there. It was small enough to be cozy but large enough for some alone timeThe house had virtually everything you would need right down to sand chairs for the beach & sand toys for our grandaughter to play with. Having the wssher/dryer in the house was a definate plus. Yes, it is literally "steps from the beach." Would love to stay here again & again

“Great beach house! Fantastic vacation!”

Reviewed 30 May 2012

This beach house was perfect for us during our recent vacation. There were 6 adults and we had plenty of room to move around without running into one another. The house is spacious, nicely furnished and very well equipped with just about everything anyone would need during their stay. We loved the white shutters, flooring and other updates that made the beach house feel just like home. The beach is literally steps away from the house, just around the corner. The location is perfect and in an area where there is plenty to do within walking distance. Although we had a rental car, we didn't use it very often. We spent most of our time on the beach. Gail is very pleasant and a pleasure to work with. This trip was a surprise for my husband's birthday. When we arrived, Gail had a Happy Birthday banner in the house greeting us. Nice touch. Thank you Gail! We hope to be back again soon! It was a fantastic, relaxing vacation for all of us.

“Awesome”

Reviewed 25 May 2012

Awesome vacation home that is within walking distance of the beach. We were in walking distance of John's Pass which was awesome for the teens to walk to in evening. The home was very clean and looks just like the pictures. You can not see the beach from the house, but it is a very small walk to get there. Overall experience was great. Would definitely stay there again.

“We had a great time!”

Reviewed 10 Apr 2012

Couldn't beleive how much room we had , never felt like we were on top of each other. I would stay there again. I liked the location to John's Pass and the beach. It had been 20 years since I had been back to Treasure Island and now we hope to make it a yearly thing with the kids and grandkids.

“A Wonderful Experience!”

Reviewed 29 Mar 2012

We were very pleased to find a lot more house than ever expected! The pictures make it appear small but there was an amazing amount of space for 3 couples and a child. The place was beautifully decorated and convenient to the beach and all conveniences. WiFi would have been nice but there was a hotspot in range that I used for the week for $20. A wider selection of cable channels would have been nice and the bed in the rear bedroom was a bit uncomfortable. All in all however, we were very pleased with the property and would not hesitate in returning again next year. Gail was also very accomodating and very straight to deal with.

“Great Times on Treasure Island”

Reviewed 17 Jan 2012

Having stayed multiple times at the areas big hotels, my family and I decided to try a single family dwelling. We chose this one because the stated rental featured three bedrooms, 2 baths and plenty of hang out room. Arriving we were all plesantly surprised. There was plenty of room for us and my kids and their 4 friends, 12 of us in all. Everything was clean, neat and functional, just as the ad said. The kitchen had everything my wife and daughters needed to prepare great meals for the rest of us while we were playing games in the family room. The beach was sensational and just a short walk away. The house even came with beach towels. This was by far the best beach house I have ever rented and I've rented quite a few. And let me not forget the owner, she was eager to make sure our trip was the best and it was.

“Great Beach Cottage”

Reviewed 14 Jan 2012

Stayed here with my family (Mom, sister, hubby, daughter and me). My sister's review appears below. Gail was a pleasure to work with from the beginning and even accommodated a special request. We celebrated my grandmother's 99th birthday; the house was spacious and filled with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Additional parking was a very short walk from the cottage. The kitchen/dining/living area was very large and great for family time. The kitchen was huge with a wrap around granite bar separating it from the living/dining area. The bedrooms were around the back and were great for private time. There are two decks (a small one in the front and a larger one in the back). The bathrooms were beautiful. They both have huge, tiled showers (no tubs if this is important to you). One of the bathrooms was in the master suite. Very nice. The beach was clean and beautiful. I highly recommend this house. If we are lucky enough to celebrate grandma's 100th birthday, we would rent from Gail again :)
