3 bedroom cabin on 160 acre mountain ranch surrounded by the Pike National Forest

Excellent location to unwind to the spectacular views of the surrounding mountains on the multiple viewing decks along with observing abundant wildlife close up. We are far from the city lights and the hot tubs are amazing for stargazing after dark.

The cabin has extraordinary views from every window. The cabin is well decorated and cozy. The staff was helpful and friendly. This was a great location and had plenty to do.

We are very pleased that you enjoyed your stay and our cabin. I apologize if there was a miscommunication about payment and understand your surprise we will be reevaluating your charge & you should here something shortly. Please note there was no exaggeration on the weather conditions - even if we plowed you out you could have ended up stranded like many other travelers across Colorado did -- hundreds of flights were cancelled as well. Our County roads had 2 to 4 foot drifts and were ice packed underneath the snow you would not have even been able to get a tow truck to come assist you and this is a no cell service area. Our snow plows did not even come out the next morning and had difficulty plowing through the drifts. http://www.usatoday.com/story/weather/2016/03/23/blizzard-blasts-plains-severe-weather-threatens-south/82156330/ My husband tried to drive to work and the snow drifts were so high that it froze the truck battery and everything shut down on him, brakes, windshield wipers and power steering it was pretty scary... The news stations advised travelers of white out conditions and icy roads and strongly suggested that your stay home. Please understand that not only was it a safety issue it really was in your best interest to stay put. We hope that this helps you understand the severity of the weather. How do damage deposits work?

In most cases, you don’t pay a damage deposit up front. Instead, we save your payment details securely and you’re only charged in the event of damage to the property.
