Description

Just twenty minutes from the south entrance to Yosemite National Park. Our caboose is located on 5 acres in the Sierra Foothills just outside of Oakhurst, CA. With a queen sized bed and full bathroom including jacuzzi tub, you can relax in style. After a nice bath, sit out on the 300 sq. ft. deck with your favorite beverage. Barbecue and rejuvinate after a nice hike in Yosemite or just get away from the city for a while. The interior has been newly remodeled and is perfect for a romantic get away or a weekend trip with a couple of friends. Hardwood floors and kitchenette with granite counter top make it easy for you to cook in if you choose. But if you don't want to cook, there are many fine restaurants in Oakhurst or Mariposa. Don't worry about bringing a doggy bag home, we have a fridge for that as well. The caboose will sleep four comfortably. The caboose is also the ideal spot for a nice golf weekend, either at River Creek Golf Course or Sierra Meadows CC.

We had a 2 night stay at the caboose with our 2 grandkids (ages 6 and 8). They loved it! We spent the day in Yosemite and the grandkids could hardly wait to get back to the caboose. We all had a great time. What a fun adventure.
