This luxury, pet friendly, first floor studio apartment which was once a blacksmiths workshop sleeps 2 people in the village of Grassington in the the Yorkshire Dales National Park near to the historic market towns of Skipton and Ilkley.This beautifully restored former blacksmith's workshop, is stylishly furnished to offer a lovely first floor holiday apartment. Set in the heart of Grassington, Lottie's Loft provides superb accommodation in a prime location for the discerning holidaymaker. Inside the apartment you will find splendid facilities including a fully-equipped kitchen, open plan living space with high open ceiling and exposed beams, and a separate dressing room. This property makes the ideal place to spend a romantic break with your loved one. It's only a minute's walk to Grassington's great shops, restaurants and pubs, perfect for recharging your batteries. If you love the outdoors, explore the best walks that the Dales have to offer along the gorgeous rivers and nearby hills. And don't miss Grassington's fantastic Dickensian Weekends and festivals for the full taste of life in the Yorkshire Dales. Town: Grassington is one of the most charming villages in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Traditional stone cottages and shops are clustered around the cobbled market place, offering exceptional shopping facilities for a village of this size, with a monthly farmer's market offering a mouthwatering range of organic and homemade local produce. Situated on the River Wharfe, with the extensive Grass Woods to the north of the village, this is a superb walking area. Down dale is Bolton Abbey with the Abbey ruins, the Priory and the famous "Strid Walk". A little further is the elegant town of Ilkley, overlooked by the famous Ilkley Moor. Up dale are Kettlewell and Buckden boasting spectacularly beautiful limestone scenery. With many other beauty spots scattered throughout Wharfedale, Grassington provides a great base for exploring the local area and all that the Dales have to offer, with Brontë Country and York also being within easy motoring distance.
