Description

“Pink Lady” (Every cabin is named after a fly pattern.)

This value-priced, rustic log cabin is located across the street from the main office and store. It is a basic studio style layout with beds, table and kitchen all in one large room. There is a small outdoor area to the rear of the cabin with a picnic table, charcoal grill and fire pit. It's a basic, clean cabin that is value priced. The Taylor River runs behind it just beyond one other row of cabins. Parking is very limited at these cabins so if you have trailers and “toys,” expect to park them separate from the cabin area.

Cabin Details:

• Approximately 350 square feet

• Two Full Size Beds

• Cabled Antenna T.V. (about 10 channels)

• All bedding and towels provided

• Full kitchen with pots, pans, dishes, utensils

• Stove/Oven, Microwave, Refrigerator, Toaster or Toaster Oven

• Coffee Maker with filters (guest provides coffee, condiments)

• Bathroom with toilet and shower

• Other supplies include: paper towels, toilet paper, bar soap, trash bags, dish soap

• Picnic table behind cabin with charcoal grill and fire pit

• Parking limited to 1 vehicle (maybe 2 smaller cars) in front of the cabin. No parking behind due to trash dumpster.

(Additional vehicles and trailers may require parking separate from the cabin. Fees may apply.)

All units are designated as non-smoking (including marijuana). Dogs allowed for an additional nightly fee, maximum of 2 dogs. No cats or other animals. Dogs may not be left alone in cabins at any time.

Nightly rate is based on 4 people. There is an additional fee of $10/person/night for extra persons (ages 7 and over). Maximum occupancy is 4.

Rates are typically higher during the peak season from May – September/early October and during holiday periods. Rates are adjusted based on occupancy and can change at any time. For exact rates, enter your trip dates in the availability search.

Response from the manager We pride ourselves on having very clean cabins, whether they are the older rustic style, as this one is, or if it is upscale on the river. If there was a dirty floor, I wish we would have heard about this immediately because a housekeeper would have come over right away to tidy up. It is unusual for something like this to happen. As for the mold smell, this is something I have not heard of so we will check it out. I know that those older cabins sometimes get a gas smell because of the pilot on the stove going out from time to time. We will look into this smell right away. We do have 17 different kinds of lodging and price points. Perhaps next time you will be able to try a newer unit. People still like cabin 5 for its rustic charm but it's not for everyone. As for our pricing, we check out the area competition regularly and feel that we are very competitive, if not on the low side of lodging rates for similar amenities. I'm glad the rafting was great. I'm not glad you had grouchy service. I would definitely like to know who you spoke to and what the grouchy response was. I can't think of who the "older ladies" would be. We don't have too many "older" people working here. Perhaps it was me - I'm early forties. If so, I apologize profusely! -Jen Stevens, Resort Mgr.
