“Cabin on the river”

Reviewed 16 Sep 2015

Nice place right on the Taylor river .The staff was friendly and helpful ,many places to visit from that location

“Perfect weekend getaway !!!!”

Reviewed 14 Jul 2015

Our stay at the Three Rivers Resort Cottage #60 was perfect from check in to check out. The cottages are a little small but they are self contained, clean and have everything you need for a weekend stay. If you have young kids I would stay here just for the fantastic loft which your kids will love. The loft has 2 mattresses perfect for kids or even a parent to sleep. It has a small bedroom downstairs and a living room with a pull out sofa bed. I had a chance to sleep on the sofa bed because it saved the more comfortable bedroom for my mother who was traveling with us. The sofa bed was very good quality, clean and comfortable and i had no trouble getting a good nights sleep on it. I had left the windows open to enjoy the sound of the river and it was very relaxing. The staff at this resort is very friendly and it had a smoke house restaurant and a grocery store where you could get most of the necessities for a weekend getaway. The service in the restaurant was very good and the food was reasonably priced for both dinner and breakfast. I would love to go back to the same property if i had a chance in the future. I applaud the owners on maintaining such a clean and friendly property.

“Great family getaway- Three Rivers delivers again!”

Great place to stay. Kitchen had everything we needed with newer pots, pans, glasses, dishes, etc. Other resorts have felt like you are cooking with thrift store castoffs...not the case at Three Rivers. We have stayed in four other 3 Rivers cabins in the past and all have clean well stocked kitchens. The accommodations in #60 were as described and well suited for up to six if you are comfortable getting cozy and don't have personal space issues. It is small. We had two adults in their 50's and four "kids" between 18 to 25 and it all worked out even with bulky fishing gear. Storage space is well designed given the small floor plan. I don't think I would be comfortable with small kids in these particular riverfront units as the cabins are close to the water and it was flowing pretty good when we were there. That said, it's great hearing and seeing the river right from the living room and deck. The staff was friendly and very accommodating. The fly shop was great as well. We will definitely be back!

“Beauty and comfort on the Taylor River”

Reviewed 25 Sep 2013

The staff at Three Rivers was efficient, friendly, and helpful. Our cabin was quite comfortable, very clean, and the kitchen was very well equipped, although an extra floor lamp by the couch would have helped a lot for night time reading. Our cabin had a great TV with excellent reception, and all appliances worked perfectly. There was a picnic table, a fire pit and an outdoor grill, and we looked out on the river. It was beautiful. There are several cabins just like this one on the river, as well as some larger ones. There is also a restaurant with good barbecue. I would recommend Three Rivers Rivers Resort.

“Trip of a lifetime!”

Best Hospitality ever!!! Cabin was immaculate with plenty of room for five people. It has everything you need. Located right on the river the views are amazing. While on a walk we even saw big horn sheep on the side of the mountain located behind our cabin. I cannot thank the staff enough for making our stay outstanding; Super friendly, resourceful, accommodating. Thank you to the best river rafting guide Ethan!! We will definitely be back.

“We had a blast!”

Reviewed 22 Aug 2012

It was great place and a nice cabin. The reason for the 3 stars on comfort was the loft area being so short my 3 yr old could barely stand up. If your an adult planning to use that space you have to crawl on your hands and knees. Also, couch cushions sink down really low when you sit on it. We didn't stay in the cabin much so it wasn't that big of a deal. Other than that, its right on the river, close to laundry area and office/store.

“Beautiful views!”

Reviewed 1 Aug 2012

This was the first time to visit Colorado. The cabin was small but usable. Main complaint was no room in the master bedroom. There was only about a foot all the way around the bed. Made it difficult to be able to dress in the bedroom. The view of the river was covered by overgrowth and trees. I would suggest keeping the area closer to the ground cleared up so one could enjoy the river more.

“Location was awesome.”

We were walking distance to the fly shop, river rafting and restaraunt. Locatede on the river for fishing and enjoyment. At the same time close to Crestabutte and Gunnison. Everyone who worked at the resort was friendly and helpful. I will be back.

“Cabin 60 Review”

Reviewed 20 Jul 2011

Overall the experience at Three Rivers was great. If I were to review cabin 60 though the only two items I have to mention negatively are (1) the fire pit is under a couple trees and not really convenient to use and; (2) the ceilings and space are low/small in half of the cabin..main bedroom, bathroom especially...perhaps on our next visit we'll look at another cabin option. Otherwise, the living room is very open & comfortable and the kitchen is organized well. The porch is super and very relaxing to sit at the table. Again though, good stay!
