“End of the road vista”

Reviewed 20 Sep 2015

The Werlein is quiet, spacious, and comfortable, with beautiful mountain views. The yard backs to a wilderness area, and neighbors are well spaced for privacy. The area is safe and well-maintained. We'd definitely stay here again - the worst part was having to leave!

“Incredible views of the Rockies from every window”

Reviewed 14 Sep 2015

The photos of this property don't do justice. Its location and the views are breathtaking. We have been renting Windcliff properties since 2002, got married here and keep coming back whenever we can. Our last stay we had a lot of rain, so we didn't go inside the park, but with beautiful mountain views from every window we didn't have to. The house is large, beautifully decorated and has all the comforts you may want. The kitchen is fully equipped and even has some spices, sugar, salt, tea, paper towels, etc. There is even firewood and laundry detergent singles. This property features incredible master on the first floor with a jet tub. There is another huge master downstairs along with two more bedrooms and two bathrooms. The living room has a piano and a fireplace. I can't say enough about this place. You just have to experience it yourself and have a wonderful vacation!

“Fantastic”

Reviewed 6 Sep 2015

House is big, clean and the views can't be equaled. It was like nothing we ever experienced. A must for everyone.

“Fantastic and relaxing as always.”

Reviewed 19 Dec 2013

The views and amenities are outstanding. We always enjoy our stays at Windcliff. The homes are so comfortable that it is almost like being at home where you can put your feet up and relax without all the every day stresses we encounter.

“Once again a great vacation!”

Reviewed 16 May 2013

As always the staff of Windcliff was very accommodating and kind. The property was well kept, clean and as always comfortable, this was our third stay at this property and we will be back :) The wildlife by the home was abundant and very friendly for not being permitted to be feed. We love Estes Park and as I said before we will be back again in the not too distant future. Thank you so much for a great vacation!!!

“Great location”

Reviewed 27 Jun 2012

There were lot of plus features. The kitchen was fully stocked, we didn't need to buy any utensiles, etc. 2 negative comments - the door locks are not adequate for families with small children. Our 2 year old could open locked doors & also, some appliances could be updated (washer, family room TV, etc) back to positives - we loved the location and the view. We liked being right next to Rmnp & took several hikes/walks through the area. We love your development and would stay at Windcliff anytime we get the chance.

“A very memorable and spectacular vacation!”

Reviewed 12 May 2011

This was our second stay at Werlein in 3 years and I think it was even better than our last visit. We saw more wildlife around the house then before and it was spectacular! Everything is so close and the staff and towns people are so nice and very accomodating. Will definitely be back again!

“Texas and Georgia”

Comfortable. Rather spartan furnishings. Great view. Would have preferred fewer twin beds.

“Great place to stay”

Reviewed 30 Jun 2010

We had a great time at our family reunion. The house was clean and well-supplied, with a wonderful view and good layout of rooms. Everyone at Windcliff was very good to work with. Our only suggestion is that the house could use a decorating make-over. But that is a minor thing compared to everything else being such high-quality.

“Great House”

Reviewed 13 Aug 2009

My family rented the Werlein house and the adjoining Miller house for 5 days and all 16 of us, ages 11 to 83, were very comfortable. The (Werlein) house was well equipped with everything we needed, including board games, a barbeque grill, and firewood. There were a lot of chipmuks running around outside and they were very cute and playful. One did get into each house--the one in the Miller house was encouraged to leave quickly, but the one in the Werlein house chewed through the window screen while we were gone and got into some food on the kitchen counter. (We had been told to put all food away, but overlooked the welcome basket left by the management company, and the chipmunk scattered cocoa mix all over the counter tops! ) The house had a wonderful deck with a table and chairs, and a great view of the mountains. The Werlein is located at the end of a driveway with no houses behind it, so it is very private and quiet. The children enjoyed playing in the forest, building a fort out of fallen timber, and taking walks along the trail behind the house. As we were packing things up to leave my brother said he'd like to stay another week, and I think we all agreed with him.
