“Perfect in every way”

Reviewed 16 Jun 2017

What a great place to meet and relax. Very spacious with areas for us all to eat, play games and enjoy the exceptional views. Also more private space for couples or those that want to get away. So well stocked with everything you could need or want, thank you to the owners and Windcliff staff for such a wonderful stay.

Response from the manager Very well and graciously said. We are so glad you enjoyed the Stewart home at Windcliff. It does accommodate larger groups who can benefit from numerous living spaces. You hit the nail on the head! We cannot wait for your group to return to Windcliff! - The Windcliff Staff

Excellent place to enjoy the beautiful state of Colorado. So beautiful and peaceful. I recommend this place.

“Mountain views abound in five star accommodations”

Reviewed 16 Apr 2016

We booked this house for a girl's getaway and it was perfect. The house is beautifully appointed-- seemed like new, but lived-in enough to have everything you need (like a very well equipped kitchen). It's great for a group because there are multiple sitting areas, 3 different tables (not including outside) and plenty of space to stretch out. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and there were even soaps an shampoos for our use (which is unusual for a rental house) so we felt a bit like we were staying at a hotel. My only caution is that the road is very steep and curvy to get up to the house. I would not want to drive it in a snow storm!

“Petersen Colorado Vacation”

We loved the house and the Windcliff team was focused on customer service. Every room had a view of the mountains and was close to RMNP entrance. We would recommend to anyone.

Beatifullt located and appointed home with complete privacy and spectacular views in every direction. I couldn't imagine a better setting for a family vacation.

“Beautiful home”

Reviewed 20 Apr 2014

We loved this home. We are a quilting group that uses Windcliff twice a year. This is the first time we have stayed at this home and it was spectacular. We will for use this home again. I didn't like the fact that the hot tub was broke for two night (they knew of this prior to us getting there) and there was no break in the price. Windcliff has also moved their value dates further in October and it really makes it hard to afford these homes.

“Far exceeded expectations, spectacular views”

Reviewed 16 Nov 2013

We are a group of very active women and former work colleagues in our 50's who reunite somewhere around the country annually. We were stunned to arrive and see the panorama of snow-capped Rockies from almost every room in the home. Every detail was thoughtful: spotlessly clean, beautifully laid out with lot of large and small gathering areas, plus large bedrooms and plenty of bathrooms (and no kitschy "condo art" or cliche furniture that you see in many ski condos). One room has clever, built-in twin beds with a little stairway, and a reading shelf and light in each nook. It was comfortable for an adult as well as for kids. Three other, large bedrooms also provided breathtaking views from one's bed. The recent renovation has produced a real mountain home and private enclave with wood beams, stone fireplaces, walls of mountain-facing windows, breathtaking views and a pool table and hot tub in the entertainment level! The open kitchen (with every cooking item one could want) was a focal point during dinner preparation. In fact, we cancelled eating out during our stay in light of the beauty and warmth of the home, the views and the lovely cooking and eating areas. On the micro-scale, this home anticipated one's every need - from night lights, clear remote control and wi-fi instructions, and laundry soap, to dish detergent and detergent, and labeled light switches. The home's proximity to the hiking trails, national park and town were perfect. The helpful Windcliff staff were wonderful and welcoming, and during the Estes Park floods the month before our arrival, kept in contact with us about the status of our impending reservation (the house was not affected) despite the highly stressful times for owners and visitors. I know this review is gushing, but we could not think of one thing amiss and it far exceeded our expectations. We all agreed that this is the most spectacular home we have reserved and a place to which we plan to return in future years.

Response from the manager Thank you so much for the great review! Stewart Highlands is in a class by itself and we love having it in the Windcliff rental program. We hope to see you and your group return again!

“Gorgeous views. Well-appointed, comfortable house.”

“Exquisite house with breaktaking view - wonderful family vacatio”

Reviewed 18 Jul 2013

From the moment we booked this house until we departed 6 days later, we had an awesome experience. The house exceeded our expectations. We were blown away by the incredible view upon entering the house, and the house itself was fantastic - spacious, clean, light, and nicely furnished. The renovation done recently was first class. We were a total of 12 people and shared the space quite comfortably. Luxuriously! The children especially enjoyed the playroom on the bottom level. We all enjoyed the hot tub! And watching the many deer from the house and patios every day! The drive to downtown Estes Park took only a few minutes. We would definitely return to this house in the future.

“An amazing stay.”

It was so easy to book the dates I wanted the house and so easy to check in. I just pulled up to the office, picked up the keys, and was on my way to the house. The house was clean and beautiful. The views were amazing. The kitchen and great room where were I spent most of my time simply because of how incredible they were. I highly recommend this property to everyone looking for a luxurious home to vacation in.
