Description

Unique family chalet with guesthouse on Upper Saranac Lake. First floor of the main house has a well-appointed and fully equipped kitchen,completely renovated in 2014, dining area, family room, living room with wood burning stove, and a master bedroom suite with private entrance, king size bed, and full bath. Sliding glass doors off the living room lead to large deck. A second porch in the back has an outdoor shower. Second floor has 2 bedrooms with queen size beds private sitting area and an office loft. The second floor bath has a tub and separate full-size shower. Guest house is equipped with a queen size bed, pullout sleeper sofa, full bath, and a screened in porch with mini kitchen. Main houses has cable TV with DVD player.

A five minute walk provides access to beautiful Upper Saranac Lake with sandy beach, dock, and spectacular vistas of the mountains. Also in close proximity are the numerous lakes of the St. Regis Canoe Area. From here you have access to some of the best canoeing in the park. The surrounding area provides for an abundance of winter and summer activities, including golf at nearby Saranac Inn Golf and Country Club (saranacinn.com) and access to the only public boat launch on Upper Saranac Lake. There is an easy drive to Whiteface Mountain and the high peaks, the villages of Saranac Lake and Lake Placid, and excellent cross-country skiing and biking right outside your door.
