Description

Atateka Point Lodge is set on three hundred feet of private lakefront on one of the prettiest private lakes in the Adirondacks. Experience the peace, quiet, and privacy of this end of the road retreat in Valentine Park on Friends Lake. Relax in the 5 person hot tub and enjoy the panoramic view of distant mountains and serene Friends Lake. The Main Lodge features a beautiful stone fireplace in the great room, a lakeside enclosed sleeping porch, two bedrooms, one bathroom and a fully equipped kitchen. Drinking water comes from a private well. Stone walls surround a court yard with Adirondack chairs, a gas grill and fire ring. Most notable is the lakeside recreation area including a log gazebo, large sunny dock (facing west for glorious sunsets), stone fireplace and sandy waterfront. Use of two canoes is included.

The Treehouse is a newly renovated two- story guest cottage that includes one bedroom upstairs with a marble bathroom and on ground level a half bath with washer and dryer, kitchenette/ living room with birch log futon and lake view window seat. Enjoy your morning coffee or afternoon refreshments on it's newly built log railing'd deck.
